Passing of Ezra (313 BCE)
Ezra, who led the return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel after the Babylonian exile (423-353 BCE), oversaw the building of the Second Temple, canonized the 24 books of the Holy Scriptures (“bible”) and, as head of the “Great Assembly” legislated a series of laws and practices (including formalized prayer) which left a strong imprint on Judaism to this very day, passed away on the 9th of Tevet of the year 3448 from creation (313 BCE — exactly 1000 years after the Giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai). The passing of Ezra marked the end of the “Era of Prophecy”.

Ezra the Scribe (Ezra HaSofer) led the second wave of Jews returning from Babylon to Israel. He headed the religious revival of the people there at the beginning of the Second Temple era. He also led the Men of the Great Assembly, one of the most influential groups of scholars in Jewish history.

Ezra’s Early Life
Very little is known about the early life of Ezra the Scribe. He was born in Babylon to a priestly family, and dedicated himself to the study of the Torah. By trade he was a scribe, writing books of the Torah and Prophets. He lived in Babylon for the first decades of his life, studying under Baruch ben Neriah.

3. 1 Tevet (circa 479 BC) – Esther was taken to King Achashverosh’s palace, leading to her becoming queen (Book of Esther 2:16-17).

4. 10 Tevet (479 BC) – Esther appears before Achashverosh for the first time and is chosen by him to be the queen.

5. 11 Tevet (1668) – Jews were expelled from Vienna, Austria, during the reign of Holy Roman Emperor Leopold the First.

6. 17 Tevet (1728) – Shearith Israel, the first New York synagogue, erects its first building in Lower Manhattan.

Now that it is after sunset 🌇 at least in the UK 🇬🇧 as the days are shorter around this time of year up until around February on the Roman Gregorian Calendar [🕎 Daniel 7:25], we tend to experience longer nights 🌙 and so, A NEW DAY HAS ALREADY BEGUN believe it or not!

*In fact, we are already in the NEW YEAR 2025!!! By the time, it is Midnight, we will have been several hours into the NEW YEAR 2025!!! The devil ensured that in this fallen broken world of Esau, his Calendar is organised like this so that mankind can always be behind schedule! This enables him to carry out all his (ths devil’s) wickedness long ahead of mankind on each new day because many people do not acknowledge when the NEW DAY actually begins.*

Interestingly, the manner in which THE HEBREW CALENDAR is arranged from today is in such a way that THE NEW HEBREW MONTH OF “TEVET” Days are falling on similar days to that of the Roman Gregorian Calendar Month of January (Janus – 2 faced small god), so, for example,

TEVET 1 is falling on January 1st, etc…  This should not confuse us. Also, note that by the time, the Roman Gregorian Calendar Month of January 2025 comes to an end, we will already be in THE HEBREW MONTH OF “SHEVAT” because each HEBREW CALENDAR MONTH was designed to have 29 or 30 days whereas the Roman Gregorian Calendar Months generally with the ezception of “February ” have 30 or 31 days.

NOTE THAT THE LORD THE CREATOR/MAKER YAH SHADDAI never created a Calendar that bears 31 days. The devil added the 31st day for his own evil agenda that is related to the number 13 and its SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE which is “Rebellion”.

*All the names of the Roman Gregorian Calendar Months and festivals are after small gods which are all fallen angels and therefore give homage to ha satan/the devil/lucifer/Beliar or Belial/that old serpent/the dragon, etc.*

THE HEBREW CALENDAR Names came about when THE ISRAELITES went into captivity beginning with the Babylonian Empire, etc as revealed in 🕎Daniel 2, however, they all have HEBREW CONNECTIONS and IMPLICATIONS linked to THE HOLY SCRIPTURES and tend to speak the SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE of that particular Month. Before this, THE HEBREW MONTHS were named with Numbers [Month 1-12 and sometimes 13] just like THE DAYS OF THE WEEK [Day 1-7]

So, we are now in a NEW HEBREW SEASON called “TEVET”. “KISLEV” is over for this new year.

It means we are celebrating two things tonight/Today, that is to say, CHANUKAH DAY 7 and ROSH CHODESH 🌙 🌃 🌉, HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH!

Every ROSH CHODESH/HEAD OF THE MONTH, we are to read/recite certain HOLY SCRIPTURES and say certain prayers. So, tonight is special. It is also good to gather together but not in honour of the Roman Gregorian Calendar New Year and Month but rather in honour of the NEW HEBREW CALENDAR MONTH!!!

Remember that ROSH CHODESH 🌙 is a Day Off Of house chores for ladies 🚺..It is also  a Special Day of Fellowship of Ladies with other Ladies 🚺 while the men take care of things at home. This is GOD THE FATHER’S Special Reward for not contributing to the Golden Calf construction [🕎Exodus 32; 🕎The Legends Of The Jews].

11 “On the first of the month you are to present to Adonai a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram, and seven flawless male lambs a year old, 12 with three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering with each bull, and two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering with the ram, 13 and with each lamb a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, a burnt offering as a pleasing aroma, an offering by fire to Adonai. 14 Their drink offerings shall be: per bull, half a hin of wine, a third of a hin of wine per ram, and, a fourth of a hin per lamb. In this day and age, we give other kinds of OFFERINGS to YAH SHADDAI mostly money [TITHE OFFERING and or TERUMAH OFFERING] and assisting the poor and needy [TZEDAKAH OFFERING].

In ancient times Rosh Chodesh was declared by the beit din (Jewish court) only after two credible witnesses would testify that they had seen the new moon. Since the fourth century, however, it has been determined by a preset calendar.

Rosh Chodesh means the “head of the new [moon],” and indeed it is a day—or two—of Jewish celebration marking the start of a new lunar month.

The Jewish nation is often compared to the moon. Throughout history our light has waxed and waned. But even in utter darkness, it has never been extinguished. This is one reason why, when the new moon appears for the first time in the night sky, we celebrate.
