YAH calls us to BE HOLY AS HE IS HOLY! What exactly does this mean?

SHALOM!

What we, as human beings eat MATTERS A LOT TO YAH! If it were not so, YAH would NOT take HIS time to write detailed statements about FOOD in the HOLY SCRIPTURES!

Note that the TORAH is not just for The Jews / Orthodox Jews. Constantine did not give us freedom by ENFORCING CHRISTIANITY (A DIVERSION FROM MESSIANIC JUDAISM). Rather Constantine, the Roman Emperor created and enforced BONDAGE, Satan’s Bondage upon YAH’S people as seen in Daniel 7 & 9.

YAH (GOD) has give you the GIFT OF LIFE on earth. This means that YOUR LIFE IS NOT YOUR OWN!

YAH created us to WORSHIP HIM! This means that OUR WAY OF LIFE EITHER GIVES GLORY TO OR does not give GLORY unto YAH! Our way of life extends to every area of our lives. Every area of our lives matters to YAH so very much and that is why HE took HIS time to write LOVING GUIDELINES in the FORM OF INSTRUCTIONS (TORAH) to see us through this life SUCCESSFULLY! The TORAH is HIS GUIDE MANUAL to us for our journey through this WILDERNESS called EARTH.

The HOLY SCRIPTURES reveal that Daniel and his friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego as well as Queen Esther determined NOT TO DEFILE THEMSELVES WITH UNCLEAN FOOD, food that was dedicated to idols as well as most likely not killed in YAH’S WAY!

The ISSUE OF CLEAN AND UNCLEAN (FOODS) was a big deal during the time of the MACCABEES when the Syrian-Greek King Antiichus (IV) took over THE HOLY LAND / ISRAEL and defiled it. Please read the STORY OF THE FEAST OF HANNUKAH / DEDICATION / LIGHTS because you will gain better understanding of this issue as well as what will happen during the GREAT TRIBULATION.

⁵¹ The king not only issued the same decree throughout his whole empire, but he also appointed officials to supervise the people and commanded each town in Judea to offer pagan sacrifices. ⁵² Many of the Jews were ready to forsake the Law and to obey these officials. They defiled the land with their evil, ⁵³ and their conduct forced all true Israelites to hide wherever they could.

Antiochus Epiphanes and Renegade Jews

¹⁰ From them came forth a sinful root, Antiochus Epiphanes, son of King Antiochus; he had been a hostage in Rome. He began to reign in the one hundred thirty-seventh year of the kingdom of the Greeks.^[a]

¹¹ In those days certain renegades came out from Israel and misled many, saying, “Let us go and make a covenant with the Gentiles around us, for since we separated from them many disasters have come upon us.” ¹² This proposal pleased them, ¹³ and some of the people eagerly went to the king, who authorized them to observe the ordinances of the Gentiles. ¹⁴ So they built a gymnasium in Jerusalem, according to Gentile custom, ¹⁵ and removed the marks of circumcision, and abandoned the holy covenant. What made some animals clean and others unclean (Genesis 7)?

Noah took two of every kind of animal into the ark, right? Not exactly. The Bible states, “Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth” (Genesis 7:2–3).

⁷ Then Yahweh Elohim formed the man from the dust of the earth^[a]and blew the breath of life into his nostrils. The man became a living being.

 

The Hebrew phrase translated “seven pairs” literally means “seven sevens,” so there is some question as to whether Noah took seven specimens of each “clean” species (three pairs and an extra) or seven pairs. Either way, he was told to take more clean animals than unclean on the ark. Only the unclean animals came in pairs (Genesis 6:19).

Leviticus 11 defines the difference between clean and unclean animals, but Noah lived before the giving of the Law. We are not told how Noah knew which animals were clean and unclean, but he obviously knew the difference. Sacrifices to YAHUVEH GOD were made before the TORAH (a.k.a Mosaic Law) (Genesis 4:4), which means YAHUVEH GOD had somehow communicated to man what animals were suitable for sacrifice (and, later, for eating).

Leviticus 11 specifies which birds, land animals, and sea creatures were clean and unclean. Here are a few of the clean and unclean animals in those lists:

Clean animals:

• land animals that chew the cud and have a divided hoof, such as cattle, deer, goats, and sheep;

 

• seafood with both fins and scales, such as bluegill, grouper, and cod;

 

• certain birds, including chickens, doves, and ducks;

and even

• some insects, such as grasshoppers and locusts.
  

 

Unclean Animals:

• land animals that either do not chew the cud or do not have a split hoof, such as pigs, dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, and rats;

 

• seafood lacking either fins or scales, such as shellfish, lobster, oysters, and catfish; some birds, such as owls, hawks, and vultures;

and

• other animals, such as reptiles and amphibians.

¹⁴ He wiped out the handwritten record of debts with the decrees against us, which was hostile to us. He took it away by nailing it to the cross.

While the New Covenant/Testament teaches that we are no longer judged regarding what foods we eat (Colossians 2:16), nutritionists have noted that the listings of clean and unclean foods in the Old Covenant/Testament actually provide a guideline for a healthy diet.

 

In a time period lacking modern food safety techniques, a diet consisting of only clean animals would have protected people against many health problems.

Ultimately, YAHUVEH GOD’S distinction between clean and unclean animals was about more than one’s diet. Many of YAHUVEH GOD’S regulations were to remind HIS people, Israel, that they were set apart to worship the one, true ELOHIM. The original audience of Genesis 7, during Moses’ day, would have associated the reference to clean animals with the animals God had given them for food as well as sacrifice. It would only make sense to include more clean animals than unclean on the ark. Noah made a sacrifice immediately after the Flood (Genesis 8:20). Since seven (or seven pairs) of every clean animal had been aboard, the sacrifices would still have left plenty of animals to begin replenishing the earth.

KOSHER extends not only to FOOD but also CLOTHING and OTHER AREAS too.

Anything KOSHER FRIENDLY is YAH-friendly (GOD-FRIENDLY) as laid out in YAH’S WORD particularly in the Book of Leviticus.

YAH’S WORD is final!

The Orthodox Jews define KOSHER as food that is:

• CLEAN BEFORE YAH as determined by YAH,
• FOOD DEDICATED TO YAH
• ANIMALS KILLED IN A YAH-FRIENDLY WAY
• FOOD BAKED IN A CERTAIN WAY
• Also not taking certain foods with other foods in the same meal, for example, Milk not taken together with Meat particularly beef, etc. Lasagne, Pizza, etc is NOT KOSHER!
• Food prayed over with YAH’S blessing over it by a Rabbi.

²¹ Never eat any creature that dies naturally. You may give it to the foreigners who live in your cities, and they may eat it. You may also sell it to foreigners who are visiting. But you are people who are holy to Yahweh your Elohim.

According to the above SCRIPTURES, LASAGNE, PIZZA and BEEF STRAGNOFF, etc are NOT KOSHER / YAH-FRIENDLY FOODS because they have MEAT AND MILK in them.

 

A Rabbi does not have to pray over food before it can be blessed, bought and eaten. However, the way in which it is prepared, for example, the way in which the animals are killed matters a lot to YAH. Additionally, to which god it is dedicated to matters a lot to YAH!

KOSHER is about YAH-friendly FOODS (CLEAN FOODS); THE WAY THE ANIMALS ARE KILLED as well as DEDICATING THE FOOD TO YAH (GOD).

The Orthodox Jews do it in YAH’S WAY as defined in the TORAH!

As for the Rabbi praying over it, that’s not so much of a big deal because according to the BOOK OF HEBREWS, Chapter 4, we can all now boldly approach YAH’S throne through YAHUSHUA, our Great High Priest and ask YAH to BLESS plus SANCTIFY our food.

HALAL and KOSHER are all about the WAY THE ANIMALS ARE KILLED plus THE god(s) or GOD to which all the FOODS (whether MEAT OR BREAD, etc) are DEDICATED TO before selling them, etc.

We advised to beware WHERE we purchase our NECESSITIES (e.g. FOODS and CLOTHES, etc), in this case food so as not to eat food dedicated to other gods and thereby CURSED.

Be led by the RUACH HA KODESH as you go SHOPPING always.

DON’T just buy from anywhere and then hope that YAH will bless it.

You as a believer in and follower of YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH is a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD / PRIEST OF YAH as seen in 1 Peter 2:9. You can therefore approach YAH’S THRONE BOLDLY  through YAHUSHUA THE GREAT HIGH PRIEST and YAHUSHUA’S BLOOD. You can ask YAH to bless the FOOD you eat BEFORE COOKING IT, as you are cooking it and even at while at the DINNER TABLE before eating.

Also, always PRAY OVER YOUR newly purchased CLOTHES before wearing them. This includes CLOTHES given to you from CHARITY SHOPS and/or FRIENDS.

Always ask YAH to BLESS everything you BUY and RECEIVE as well as SEEK YAH’S ADVISE before using them.

⁸ Daniel made up his mind not to harm himself by eating the king’s rich food and drinking the king’s wine. So he asked the chief-of-staff for permission not to harm himself in this way.

⁹ Elohim made the chief-of-staff kind and compassionate toward Daniel. ¹⁰ The chief-of-staff told Daniel, “I’m afraid of my master, the king. The king determined what you should eat and drink. If he sees that you look worse than the other young men your age, he would have my head cut off.”

¹¹ The chief-of-staff put a supervisor in charge of Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Daniel said to the supervisor, ¹² “Please test us for ten days. Give us only vegetables to eat and water to drink. ¹³ Then compare us to the young men who are eating the king’s rich food. Decide how to treat us on the basis of how we look.”

¹⁴ The supervisor listened to them about this matter and tested them for ten days.
