So, in SHEMOT [NAMES] / Exodus 14, we see YAH’S MIGHTY HAND DELIVER [YAHUSHUA] ISRAEL from their enemy, Mitzrayim a.k.a Egypt in various ways. The most outstanding verse in this chapter is:

Then, in SHEMOT [NAMES] / Exodus 15, we see a GREAT CELEBRATION OF VICTORY OF ISRAEL OVER Mitzrayim. We also see YAHUVEH give some strict instructions to ISRAEL ! YAHUVEH informs ISRAEL that if they wish to continually enjoy YAHUVEH’S DELIVERANCE, they must be obedient to HIM always!

In SHEMOT [NAMES] / Exodus 16, we are told about ISRAEL’S Journey at the start as well as the time of year on ISRA’EL’S CALENDAR [HEBREW CALENDAR] – Exodus 16:1 – *Iyyar a.k.a Iyar 15*! They are in the Desert or Wilderness of Sin [between Elim and Sinai] at this point in time.
We also see ABBA YAHUVEH DIVINELY PROVIDE FOR HIS Specially Set Apart People, ISRA’EL! ABBA YAH promises to rain down MANNA (morning) and QUAIL (twilight)as ISRAEL’S DAILY FOOD and further instructed them never to leave any until morning [Exodus 16:11-30]! A POT OF THE MANNA WAS TO BE PUT ASIDE AS A TESTIMONY OF YAH’S GOODNESS TO ISRAEL ! It is clear that THE CREATOR, YAH BEARS MANY TESTIMONIES!

THE MANNA taste varied from person to person and day to day! Whatever food ISRAEL desired and thought of at that particular point in time, that is what the MANNA tasted like.
*MANNA WAS WELL ABSORBED INTO THE BODIES OF THE ISRAELITES WHENEVER THEY ATE IT however wherever they sinned against YAH SHADDAI, they developed the need to urinate and deficate just as Adam and Chavvah many years before this!* URINATION AND DEFICATION STARTED WITH ADAM AND CHAVVAH [EVE] SOMETIME AFTER THEY LEFT THE GARDEN OF EDEN [Genesis 3; First and Second Books of Adam and Eve; etc]!

URINATION AND DEFICATION ARE A MANIFESTATION OF THE 10 + 10 CURSES GIVEN TO ADAM AND CHAVVAH BY ABBA YAHUVEH IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN AS A RESULT OF SINNING THROUGH EATING THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT!

NOTE THAT WHENEVER HUMANS ARE ON THEIR DEATH-BEDS AND THEIR DAYS ON EARTH ARE CLOSING, THEY EAT LESS AND LESS AND EVENTUALLY FAST PRIOR TO THEIR PASSING! *There is a reason for this! FASTING MAKES THE HUMAN FLESH BODY to become lighter, healthier (cleanses the body) and more sensitive plus submissive to the SPIRITUAL BODY and THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT!* This allows for easier SEPARATION OF THE SPIRITUAL BODY FROM THE PHYSICAL FLESH BODY when need arises! The FASTING prior to death usually comes naturally!
EATING KOSHER a.k.a CLEAN FOODS ONLY does a similar thing to the human body.
It is our belief that YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH did not eat much at THE LORD’S SUPPER a.k.a [HIS FINAL] PASSOVER [PESACH] SEDER with HIS Disciples on earth in human form because HE was to die on the day after that.
So, eating MANNA was highly SPECIAL: SET APART PEOPLE EATING SET APART FOOD!
*What Adam and Chavvah forfeited [THE GARDEN OF EDEN] was even more SPECIAL! Adam and Chavvah had no need for searching for or cooking food!* THEIR FOOD WAS PROVIDED FOR THEM DIRECTLY FROM THE HEAVENS BY YAH’S HOLY Angels AT PARTICULAR TIMES OF THE DAY. Adam and Chavvah were treated like a King and Queen. *The food was prepared by YAH’S HOLY Angels and the meal tables were set by YAH’S HOLY Angels* [Psalm 23; John 10; Matthew 6:25-34; Philippians 4:19] ! *The food was plenty and thus usually too much for them! They shared with the animals* [Ref: THE LEGENDS OF THE JEWS]!

4. GAVE THEM CLOTHING AND SHOES plus RESTORED THEIR DAMAGED CLOTHES AND SHOES!
5. STRETCHED THEIR CLOTHES TO FIT THEM ACCORDINGLY AS THEY GREW OLDER!
6. STRETCHED THEIR SANDALS / SHOES AS THEY GREW OLDER!
7. YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH was THE ROCK that journey with ISRAEL and provided them with WATER !
8. PROTECTED ISRAEL FROM extremely dangerous serpents/snakes. YAH made the serpents to be at peace with ISRAEL throughout their journey except during THE BRAZEN SERPENT INCIDENT – Numbers 21!

*YAHUVEH did not leave ISRAEL in want throughout their 40 years journey!!!* They truly had no need to complain!

Exodus only gives us a summary of what occurred. There is so much more……
Then, finally Exodus 17, the final chapter of this TORAH PARASHAH [PORTION] talks of THE VERY FIRST BATTLE WHICH ISRAEL ENGAGED IN AFTER LEAVING Mitzrayim!
Sadly, the Chapter begins with ISRAEL murmuring followed by quarreling with Moshe concerning a lack of WATER having arrived in a new environment, Rephidim (from the Desert/Wilderness of Sin) ! *There were times when YAHUVEH decided to test ISRAEL . Unfortunately ISRAEL failed every time * They failed to learn to be GRATEFUL TO THEIR MAKER AND DELIVERER!
There were times during these times of murmuring when YAH overlooked their murmuring and just gave them what they desired however there were other times when YAH Punished them for their murmuring, the most significant of them being the Numbers 13 incident.
When the ISRAELITES had just left Mitzrayim, they were BABY BELIEVERS IN AND FOLLOWERS OF YAH SHADDAI (a.k.a baby Christian) however as the years rolled by SPIRITUAL MATURITY WAS EXPECTED!
At Rephidim, Egypt was still in ISRAEL’S entire being even though they were no longer physically in Egypt! So, YAH overlooked their murmuring.
The following PRAYER IN POPULAR IN HEBREW CIRCLES FOR A DIVINE PURPOSE:
*BARUCHATAH ADONAI YAHUVEH ELOHEINU MOLECH ha-olam,* shehecheyanu v-ki’y’manu v-higianu la-z’man ha-zeh, B’SHEM YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH.
*BLESSED ARE YOU, YAHUVEH Our GOD, RULER of the Universe,* for giving us life, for sustaining us, and for enabling us to reach this season, in THE NAME OF YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH.
ISRAEL was to learn this and get into the habit of saying this to YAH SHADDAI often while in the Desert/Wilderness and going forward *however, sadly, they lacked understanding of YAH’S LOVE FOR THEM AND SUSTAINABILITY OF THEM *
They also forgot how great their ancestors were and how YAH sustained them – THE TESTIMONY OF THEIR ANCESTORS!
*The desert conditions were truly harsh however YAH SHADDAI always made them easier to bear.*
Moshe reports ISRAEL to YAHUVEH and then cries out to YAHUVEH for a solution to the murmuring and quarreling. In Exodus 17:5-7, YAHUVEH MIRACULOUSLY PROVIDES:

14 Abraham named that place YAHUVEH [YAHWEH]YIREH. It is still said today, “On the mountain of YAHWEH it will be provided.”
NOTE I HOW YAHUVEH says that HE will be at THE ROCK! YAHUVEH was present through YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH, HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, HalleluYAH
Shortly after this, Amalek, a descendant of Esau (and therefore hater of ISRAEL) attacked ISRAEL! ISRAEL was extremely vulnerable at this point in time. This event led to YAHUVEH making some vows concerning Amalek. We later see Amalek attack ISRAEL again but this time in THE PROMISED LAND during King Shaul’s [a.k.a Saul] Reign and again while in Exile during King Ahasuerus a.k.a Archashverosh’s Reign over Persia and Medes. Amalek attacked ISRAEL through Haman (Prime Minister at the time), his descendant in Persia and Medes. King Shaul was heavily Punished for sparing some of Amalek’s descendants and thus endangering ISRAEL! King Shaul’s actions later affected ISRAEL negatively as revealed through THE BOOK OF ESTHER.
*NOTE THAT Hur who is mentioned in Exodus 17:10 was Myryam’s son and therefore a descendant of Levi, THE HIGH PRIEST!*
Sadly, Hur was later murdered by ISRAEL inspired by the mixed multitude amongst them because he refused to build the Golden Calf on the 40th Day of Moshe’s dwelling on Mount Sinai while in Fellowship with YAHUVEH. Moshe was also in the process of descending with THE TWO TABLES OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS!
Ha satan had lied to ISRAEL that Moshe was dead. This occurred on Tammuz 17 – Numbers 32. Interestingly, this was the very same day on which Numbers 13 occurred many years later. [Ref: THE LEGENDS OF THE JEWS]
*Murdering Hur did not go unpunished as he was a Levite Priest unto YAHUVEH and thus extremely special to THE CREATOR, THE MOST HIGH GOD, YAH SHADDAI!
Aharon was the next target after Hur. The punishment for murdering Aharon would have been much worse as he was much GREATER THAN Hur! Aharon was representative of YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH and in fact dwells in THE HOLY TEMPLE IN THE SHAMMAYIM [HEAVENS] since his passing.* Moshe during his HEAVENLY VISIT on the day of his passing but prior to his passing saw Aharon standing side by side YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH in THE HOLY TEMPLE both wearing HOLY HIGH PRIESTLY GARMENTS and filled with YAHUVEH’S SHEKINYAH GLORY beyond Great Measure! Moshe desired to get closer however HE needed a special password. ABBA YAHUVEH eventually gave it to him. This confirms what is written throughout the BOOK OF HEBREWS!
Exodus 17:8-16 tells us about how ISRAEL defeated wicked Amalek followed by YAHUVEH’S DECREE AGAINST Amalek! NOTE
HOW YAHUshua [Joshua] The Son of Nun and from the tribe of Ephraim, half tribe of Joseph [Numbers 13:8] led and won the battle against Amalek physically and Spiritually while Moshe, Aharon and Hur [Levi] supported him and the other army men Spiritually by lifting Moshe’s hands up on top of a hill closeby within Rephidim.
