SHALOM Brethren in YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH [a.k.a JESUS CHRIST; not YeshaYAHU! ; not Yeshua!], we have ome to learn the similarities between Pinchas a.k.a Phinehas The High Priest and Eliyahu Ha Navi a.k.a Elijah The Prophet and the fact that they were one and the same person and thought it good to share here. We have noticed that around this time of YAH SHADDAI, when Jews/Hebrew People worldwide are reading and studying THE TORAH PARASHAH PINCHAS, it is time at which Eliyau Ha Navi Is highlighted also.

Portion Summary

Pinchas is the Hebrew name translated in English Bibles as Phinehas. It is also the name of the forty-first reading from the Torah because of the second verse of the reading, which says, “Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned away My wrath” (Numbers 25:11). In this Torah portion, the LORD makes a covenant of peace with Phinehas and his descendants, orders a second census, settles questions about inheritance, appoints Joshua to succeed Moses and lists the sacrifices for the appointed times.

We are also in the Second 40 Day Period Of Fasting and Prayer that Moshe did following the sin of the Golden Calf as per Exodus 32. He started on Tammuz 18 and finished on Av 28. He was on Mount Sinai for 7 days at first and in the HEAVENS the rest of the 40 days period.
