WHAT IS THE STATE OF YOUR SPIRITUAL HOUSE?

CLEAN YOUR SPIRITUAL HOUSE, what is this all about?

 

First and foremost, What is your SPIRITUAL HOUSE?

To find the answer, we need to search YAH’S HOLY SCRIPTURES. The answer is found in the following HOLY SCRIPTURES. Let us go back to the beginning where the FIRST SPIRITUAL HOUSE is mentioned and built:

Exodus 25:8-10 King James Version (KJV)

⁸ And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.

⁹ According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

¹⁰ And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

According to the above HOLY SCRIPTURE, YAH asked Moses to build  SANCTUARY (a.k.a TABERNACLE / TENT OF MEETING) where HE could dwell in the midst of HIS people implying that their lives were all about YAH! YAH’s Sanctuary being placed right in the middle with the Children of Israelites’ tents surrounding it was very significant. YAH was trying to pass a message to us. OUR LIVES ARE AND SHOULD BE ALL ABOUT YAH!

Some years later, plans were made to build a TEMPLE for YAH:

David’s Wish to Build a House for God

7 While King David was living in his house, Yahweh gave him peace with all his enemies around him. ² So the king said to the prophet Nathan, “Look, I’m living in a house made of cedar, while the ark of Elohim remains in the tent.”

³ Nathan told the king, “Do everything you have in mind, because Yahweh is with you.”

⁴ But that same night Yahweh spoke his word to Nathan: ⁵ “Say to my servant David, ‘This is what Yahweh says: Are you the one who will build me a house to live in? ⁶ I haven’t lived in a house from the day I took Israel out of Egypt to this day. Instead, I moved around in a tent, the tent of meeting. ⁷ In all the places I’ve moved with all the Israelites, did I ever ask any of the judges^[a] of Israel whom I ordered to be shepherds of my people Israel why they didn’t build me a house of cedar?’

When the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL acquired the PROMISED LAND, there was no longer a need to move around so they needed a PERMANENT SANCTUARY. This was when the TEMPLE came up. King David was assigned to build it but YAH did not allow him because he ended up having too much blood on his hands. YAH decided that King Solomon, his son would build it instead and he did. Sadly, the FIRST TEMPLE was destroyed some years later. The SECOND TEMPLE was rebuilt and also destroyed by the Romans some time after YAHUSHUA had ascended to  the HEAVENS.

The SECOND TEMPLE was defiled by the Syrian/Greeks when they took over THE PROMISED LAND. However, some faithful Israelites fought back led by the MACCABEES and were victorious. The TEMPLE was then purified and re-dedicated unto YAH! YAH even helped by keeping the MENORAH LIGHT BURNING FOR EIGHT EXTRA DAYS. This Miracle is celebrated yearly in Jewish tradition (FEAST OF HANUKKAH / DEDICATION/ LIGHT). This FEAST IS ALL ABOUT THE SPIRITUAL HOUSE OF YAH!

Then, in the NEW COVENANT / TESTAMENT, we see RUACH HA KODESH filling YAHUSHUA’S Disciples in Acts 2. This was when YAH physically came to dwell in man thereby making man a SPIRITUAL SANCTUARY / TENT / TABERNACLE / TEMPLE OF MEETING. We are encouraged to do so however, we don’t have to go to a Physical Building in order to COMMUNE / FELLOWSHIP WITH YAH any longer. We are the PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL BUILDING OF YAH NOW!

¹⁹ Don’t you know that your BODY IS A TEMPLE that belongs to the Holy Spirit? The HOLY SPIRIT, whom you received from GOD, lives in you. You don’t belong to yourselves.

According to the above HOLY SCRIPTURE, our BODIES are SPIRITUAL HOUSES called SANCTUARIES / TABERNACLES / TEMPLES.

The LEVITE PRIESTS of the OLD COVENANT / TESTAMENT always spent their time looking after YAH’S SANCTUARY / TENT / TABERNACLE / TEMPLE OF MEETING. They carried out SACRIFICES accordingly, replenished the BREAD OF THE PRESENCE; replaced the wicks of the MENORAH; etc. They had a daily duty to do this as seen in the images below:

 

We who have accepted YAH’S SALVATION and are WALKING FAITHFULLY WITH YAHUSHUA are LEVITE PRIESTS as seen in 1 Peter 2:9. We have a duty to daily TAKE CARE of YAH’S TEMPLE which is our BODIES (PHYSICAL and SPIRITUAL).

This is why we need to CONSTANTLY CLEAN OUR SPIRITUAL HOUSES just in the same way as we clean our physical houses.

Our Spiritual Houses are much more vital as their condition determines our ability to make HEAVEN!

Ask yourself this, can you live in a FILTHY, STINKING HOUSE?

Do you think and/or seeing YAH living in a  FILTHY, STINKING HOUSE?

BE YE HOLY AS YAH IS HOLY, says YAHUVEH (1 Peter 1:16 & Hebrew 12:14)!!!

If YAH can’t stand SIN and filthiness and has actually build a place for it which is HELL, then why do you expect HIM to tolerate it inside of you?

Don’t get me wrong, YAH loves us so very much and has sacrificed a lot for us which is HIS BEGOTTEN SON, YAHUSHUA who came to dwell with us in our FILTHINESS so as to PULL US OUT OF IT SPIRITUALLY. However, we need to accept YAHUSHUA as our only MESSIAH so as to be totally pulled out of our SPIRITUAL FILTHINESS!

Remember that according to Isaiah 66, our righteousness is like filthy rugs. We need YAHUSHUA’S RIGHTEOUSNESS! We can’t obtain it without accepting YAHUSHUA as our personal LORD and SAVIOUR as well as being cleansed by HIS BLOOD!

 

Cleaning your SPIRITUAL HOUSE  involves your FIVE SENSES:

• HEARING
• SMELLING
• TASTING
• FEELING
• SEEING

It also literally involves every area of your life!!!

• TIME (HOW AND WITH WHO YOU SPEND YOUR TIME)
• FRIENDSHIPS
• WHAT YOU EAT
• WHERE YOU EAT
• CAREER (the type you choose to go for)
• DRESSCODE
• HAIR-STYLE
• WHERE YOU ALLOW YOUR FEET TO STEP
• WHAT YOU READ AND WATCH
• WHAT YOU LISTEN TO

….ETC… everything that you use your body to do.

Note that what you HEAR, SMELL, TASTE, FEEL and SEE matters a lot to YAH (a.k.a GOD)!!! In fact YAH associates it with BEING HOLY BEFORE HIM as seen throughout the HOLY SCRIPTURES especially in the TORAH!

Our SENSES are GATEWAYS for either GOOD or EVIL to COME IN and GO OUT!

It is from the ABUNDANCE OF THE HEART ISSUES OF LIFE FLOW! It is what we allow inside of us that will come out eventually / manifest physically (Matthew 12:34; Proverbs 4:23; Proverbs 10:11; Psalm 14:1; Proverbs 21:2; Proverbs 24:12; Ezekiel 11:21; Ezekiel 16:30; Luke 6:45):

¹⁹ Now, the effects of the corrupt nature are obvious:

• illicit sex,
• perversion,
• promiscuity, 
• ²⁰ idolatry,
• drug use,
• hatred,
• rivalry,
• jealousy,
• angry outbursts,
• selfish ambition,
• conflict, factions, 
• ²¹ envy, drunkenness,
• wild partying,
• and similar things.

I’ve told you in the past and I’m telling you again that people who do these kinds of things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

• rage,
• anger,

When we clean ourselves SPIRITUAL,

• We ask YAH to have MERCY on us for all our SINS (we name the SINS, one at a time), – Psalm 103.

 

• It  is a time to release everyone you are holding in your heart due to bitterness, jealousy, unforgiveness, etc and forgive plus forget the wrong they have done to you.

 

• It is a time to ask YAH to cleanse your heart as well as all your BODY with the BLOOD OF YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH from all your sins.

 

• It is a time ask YAH to washing your SPIRITUAL GARMENTS in the BLOOD OF YAHUSHUA from every STAIN OF SIN and STENCH.

 

• It is a time to go into SPIRITUAL WARFARE (Ephesians 6) so as to kick out everything that has been deposited into your body mainly through sin and in dreams as well as other ways.

 

• It is a time to cry out for a FRESH IN-FILLING OF THE OIL and FIRE OF RUACH HA KODESH (a.k.a HOLY SPIRIT) so as to be on fire for YAH (so as not to be lukewarm! This also makes the LIGHT OF YAHUSHUA shine afresh in your life as it needs OIL and FIRE to burn! When one is on FIRE FOR YAH, demons and Satan back off that person’s life if the person is consistent and persistent in SPENDING MORE TIME WITH YAH daily! They would be filled more with YAH’S PRESENCE and less of Satan, demons and the world!

 

• It is a time to DEAL WITH SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION ISSUES that may be causing you trouble in progressing in life generally. You don’t know what SINS which your descendants did against YAH that are speaking against you and Satan is using them to stop progress in your life! Need to INVESTIGATE SPIRITUALLY!!! Remember that YAH says,

• It is a time as YAH to re-dress you, heal/restore you.
• We REVIEW and CHANGE the way we live our lives in every area of our lives, including the way we dress, eat (Leviticus 11), our friendships, how and where we spend out time, where we eat, the way we talk, what we talk about mostly,

Why would YAH ask the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL to WASH THEIR CLOTHES?  What does that have to do with anything?

Well, it was a PHYSICAL ACT that SIGNIFIED A SPIRITUAL ACT as we see now in the NEW COVENANT / TESTAMENT. As they cleaned their Physical Garments in OBEDIENCE UNTO YAH, YAH cleaned their SPIRITUAL GARMENTS. This is crucial as seen in the Book of Matthew 22 and Revelation (Letters to the Seven Messianic Communities).

We are NOT MEANT TO BE NAKED in the Spiritual Realm! Even YAH and HIS HOLY ANGELS are clothed!

Our SPIRITUAL GARMENTS will determine whether we can enter HEAVEN or not because every time we SIN in any way, the STAINS show / manifest in our SPIRITUAL GARMENTS!!!!

When we clean our SPIRITUAL HOUSES, our CHARACTERS and PERSONALITIES are supposed to change by REFLECTING MORE OF YAH than anything else. Remember, according to Romans 12:1-2, when we accept YAH’S SALVATION, we are expected to become YAH’S LIVING SACRIFICES meaning DIE TO THE FLESH and LIVE TO YAHUSHUA, DIE TO SIN and LIVE TO YAHUSHUA’S RIGHTEOUSNESS!
