The Proper Place to Worship

12 Here are the laws and rules you must faithfully obey in the land that Yahweh Elohim of your ancestors is giving you as your own. You must obey them as long as you live in the land.

² Completely destroy all the worship sites on the high mountains, on the hills, and under every large tree. The people you’re forcing out worship their gods in these places. ³ Tear down their altars, crush their sacred stones, burn their poles dedicated to the goddess Asherah, cut down their idols, and wipe out the names of their gods from those places.

⁴ Never worship Yahweh your Elohim in the way they worship their gods. ⁵ Yahweh your Elohim will choose a place out of all your tribes to live and put his name. Go there and worship him. ⁶ Bring him your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, one-tenth of your income, your contributions, the offerings you vow to bring, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your cattle, sheep, and goats. ⁷ There, in the presence of Yahwehyour Elohim, you and your families will eat and enjoy everything you’ve worked for, because Yahweh your Elohim has blessed you.

⁸ Never worship in the way that it’s being done here today, where everyone does whatever he considers right. ⁹ Up until now you haven’t come to your place of rest, the property Yahweh your Elohim is giving you. ¹⁰ But you will cross the Jordan River and settle in the land Yahwehyour Elohim is giving you as your own property. You must bring everything I command you to that place. There you must do everything I command you.

¹⁵ In whatever city you live, you may slaughter and eat as much meat as you want from what Yahweh your Elohim has blessed you with. Clean and unclean^[a] people may eat it as if they were eating a gazelle or a deer. ¹⁶ But never eat the blood. Pour it on the ground like water. ¹⁷ You may not eat the Lord’s offerings in your cities. Those offerings are: one-tenth of your grain, new wine, and olive oil; the firstborn of your cattle, sheep, or goats; the offerings you vow to bring; your freewill offerings; and your contributions. ¹⁸ Instead, you, your sons and daughters, male and female slaves, and the Levites who live in your cities must eat these in the presence of Yahweh your Elohim at the place Yahweh your Elohim will choose. There in the presence of Yahweh your Elohimenjoy everything you’ve worked for. ¹⁹ Don’t forget to take care of the Levites as long as you live in your land.

²⁰ Yahweh your Elohim will expand your country’s borders as he promised. You will say, “I’m hungry for meat.” Then eat as much meat as you want. ²¹ If the place Yahweh your Elohim chooses to put his name is too far away from you, you may slaughter an animal from the herds or flocks that Yahweh has given you. Eat as much as you want in your city. I have commanded you to do this. ²² Eat it as you would eat a gazelle or a deer: Clean and unclean people may eat it together. ²³ However, be sure you never eat blood, because blood contains life. Never eat the life with the meat. ²⁴ Never eat blood. Pour it on the ground like water. ²⁵ If you don’t eat blood, things will go well for you and your descendants. You will be doing what Yahweh considers right.

²⁶ Take the holy things and the offerings you have vowed to bring, and go to the place Yahweh will choose. ²⁷ Sacrifice the meat and the blood of your burnt offerings on the altar of Yahweh your Elohim. The blood of your sacrifices is to be poured out beside the altar of Yahweh your Elohim, but you may eat the meat. ²⁸ Be sure you obey all these instructions I’m giving you. Then things will always go well for you and your descendants because you will be doing what Yahweh your Elohim considers good and right.

²⁹ Yahweh your Elohim will destroy the nations where you’re going and force them out of your way. You will take possession of their land and live there. ³⁰ After they’ve been destroyed, be careful you aren’t tempted to follow their customs. Don’t even ask about their gods and say, “How did these people worship their gods? We want to do what they did.” ³¹ Never worship Yahweh your Elohim in the way they worship their gods, because everything they do for their gods is disgusting to Yahweh. He hates it! They even burn their sons and daughters as sacrifices to their gods.^[b]

³² Be sure to do everything I command you. Never add anything to it or take anything away from it.

As we can see, the word CHRISTMAS is two words put together to form something like an ACRONYM. The word CHRISTMAS can be broken down as follows:

• CHRIST
• MAS (but should be MASS)

To understand what CHRISTMAS is truly about, we need to understand the meaning of these two words that form the word CHRISTMAS as follows:

 

What does the word “CHRIST” mean?

The word “CHRIST” is a Greek-Latin word (not Hebrew) meaning “ANOINTED ONE”.

In Hebrew, YAH’S Language and Language of Creation, the word that was used before translating the Holy Scriptures was “MASHIACH”.

“MASHIACH,” in the English language is “MESSIAH” (should be written as “MESSIYAH”)! The title/word means “ANOINTED ONE”.

Now,

What does the word “MASS” mean (in Roman Catholic terms as it emanated from there)?

According to Wikipedia, The Mass or Eucharistic Celebration is the central liturgical ritual in the Catholic Church where the Eucharist (Communion) is consecrated. The church describes the mass as “the source and summit of the Christian life”. The church teaches that through consecration by a priest the sacrificial bread and wine become the body and blood of Christ. The Catholic Church practises closed communion, with only baptised members in a state of grace ordinarily permitted to receive the Eucharist. Many of the Catholic Church’s other sacraments are celebrated in the framework of the Eucharist.

The term “Mass” is derived from the concluding words of the Roman Rite mass in Latin: “Ite, missa est“ (“Go; it is the dismissal”).

The Late Latin word missa substantively corresponds to the classical Latin word missio.^[5] In antiquity, missa simply meant “dismissal”. In Christian usage, however, it gradually took on a deeper meaning. The word “dismissal” has come to imply a mission.^[6]

 

If the word MASS refers to COMMUNION, according to Wikipedia, then when put together with the word CHRIST to form the popular word CHRISTMAS (with one ‘s’ missing – should really be CHRIST-MASS/MASS OF CHRIST), it is clear, as seen above that the implication is COMMUNION WITH CHRIST  or DISMISSAL OF CHRIST but is this what it is really about?

 

According to another source, the word MASS means DEATH SACRIFICE with negative connotations.

Additionally, if the word is Roman Catholic and the true meaning is founded only through just Roman Catholicism, then faithful believers in and followers of YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH have no business with the Feast and all its associations since Roman Catholicism is rooted in paganism.

THE TRUE MEANING OF THE WORD “CHRISTMAS”

They tell us that it is the season to be jolly.  It is a time of ornaments, red and green decorations, silver bells, holly, mistletoe and colored lights.  It is also a time of department store Santas calling out their universal mantra, “Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas.”  Nearly all of the realm of so-called “Christianity” join in and repeat this same greeting, “Merry Christmas!”

Although we hear these words constantly as they resonate millions of times throughout the land, almost nobody understands what they are really saying.  It is the purpose of this tract to take the words, “Merry Christmas” and examine the true meaning and essence of those words.

A true Christian would want to examine everything they say, because Jesus said in Matthew 12:36-37, “But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement.  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

We will now set aside all of the customs, glitter and traditions of Christmas, which were taken from pagan witchcraft and popularized by the Roman Catholic Church, and we will focus on the true meaning of the words, “Merry Christmas!”

The word “Merry” is simple to define.  It unquestionably means to be happy, joyful and light-hearted.  The word “merry” fits into the ambience of laughter and frivolity.  This word “merry” by itself is innocent and innocuous enough, but as we will now see, it becomes heinously blasphemous when used with the word “Christmas.”

Here let it be noted that most people think that the word, “Christmas” means “the birth of Christ.”  By definition, it means “death of Christ”, and I will prove it by using the World Book Encyclopedia, the Catholic Encyclopedia, and a book entitled, The Mass In Slow Motion.

If you are an honest, sincere and discerning Christian, please read on; if not, you might as well stop right here.  The World Book Encyclopedia defines “Christmas” as follows:  “The word Christmas comes from “Cristes Maesse”, an early English phrase that means “Mass of Christ.”

• (1)  It is interesting to note that the word “Mass”, as used by the Roman Catholics, has traditionally been rejected by the so-called Protestants, such as Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals and so on.  The word “Mass” is strictly a Catholic word and thus, so is “Christ-Mass.”

It would stand to reason, that since all of these denominations love and embrace “Christ-Mass”, that December 25th is the great homecoming day, when all of the Protestants become Catholic for a day.  It would seem that all of the so-called “wayward daughters” of the Romish church return to their mother, the scarlet harlot.  Thus, all of the so-called Protestant churches could sing to the Pope that popular song “I’ll be home for Christmas.”

As previously stated, the word “Mass” in religious usage means a “death sacrifice.”  The impact of this fact is horrifying and shocking; for when the millions of people are saying, “Merry Christmas”, they are literally saying “Merry death of Christ!”  Furthermore, when the fat man in the red suit laughs boisterously  and says, “Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas”, he is mocking and laughing at the suffering and bleeding Saviour, who died for our sins.  He does this while parents place their little children into his waiting arms to hear his false promises of gifts that he says he will give them.  Consider what you are saying when you say “Merry Christmas.”

What is so amusing about our Saviour’s painful death?  What is so funny?  Why is Santa laughing?  Why are you going along with it?  Your words do count and Satan knows it.  Yes, the word “Mass”  does mean “death sacrifice”, and to cement that fact, we will consider the definition of the inventors of the religious application of the word “Mass.”  I am looking at page 537 of the Catholic Encyclopedia, which says, “In the Christian law, the supreme sacrifice is that of the Mass.”  It goes on to say, “The supreme act of worship consists essentially in an offering of a worthy victim to God, the offering made by a proper person, as a priest, the destruction of the victim.”

• (2)  Please note carefully the word, “victim” of the Mass.  The Latin word for victim is “Hostia” from which the word “host” is derived.  The Mass, by definition of those who coined the word, is a sacrifice involving a victim.  There is no other meaning for the word “Mass” or “Christ-Mass.”  On page 110 of a book entitled “The Mass In Slow Motion”,  we find the following words: “It is only with the consecration that the sacrifice of the Mass is achieved.  I have represented the Mass to you, more than once, as a kind of ritual dance.”

 

• (3) In essence, the Mass is the ceremonial slaying of Jesus Christ over and over again, followed by the eating of his flesh and the drinking of his blood.  The Mass is the death sacrifice, and the “Host” is the victim.  This is official Roman Catholic doctrine, and “Christmas” is a word that they invented.  Again, I ask, what is so merry about the pain, bleeding, suffering and death of Jesus Christ? Satan has done quite a    job of getting millions of so-called “Christians” to blaspheme.  What a deceiver he is.

Now you know the true meaning of the word “Christmas” or Mass of Christ.  There is much more to know about this pagan holiday, and we will be glad to provide you with plenty of evidence that Jesus was not born on December 25th, and that Christmas is not only a lie, but is actually a witches’ sabbat called “Yule” in clever disguise.

HOW did  CHRIST-MASS / MASS OF CHRIST come about?

According to historical records, Christianity was started by a Roman Emperor called Constantine in the year 313 AD. Some time after Christianity was introduced, there was a revolt within the Roman Empire concerning the YEARLY FEASTS TO BE OBSERVED. The reason for this was that YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S disciples were going around the world teaching about various aspects regarding the good news of YAH’S SALVATION. In addition to that, they taught about the FEASTS/FESTIVALS OF YAHIUVEH/YAHWEH GOD Almighty. When the people in the Roman Empire heard about the MESSIANIC JEWISH FEASTS/FESTIVALS, they got confused as they had never heard of them. The Roman rulers felt that they had to come up with a solution so as to make peace in their kingdom. Their solution was to change YAHUVEH GOD’S set calendar to something more suitable for them. In the process, they offended YAHUVEH GOD as well as persecuted and killed those who stood against them. Sadly, eventually, many MESSIANIC JEWS succumbed to the evil demands of the Roman Emperor Constantine. They agreed to become Christians instead as well as to observe Babylonian beliefs and practises. When this happened, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc became custom and tradition for the entire world to observe. YAHUVEH GOD’S Calendar Appointment became forgotten and done away with except for the Strict Orthodox Jews who stood their ground to this day no matter what!

CHRISTMAS IS NOT A CHRISTIAN HOLIDAY (by Apostle Elisheva Eliyahu of Amightywind Ministry)

Is it really too much to ask for us as parents and worshippers of YAHUVEH and YAHUSHUA to teach this world the truth and flee from the pagan rituals of the heathen? The heathen taught us that X-mas was honoring YAHUSHUA our Lord JESUS CHRIST when really how many of those Christian songs sung at Christmas even have the name of JESUS in it?

I started feeling the grieving of the RUACH ha KODESH also called the HOLY SPIRIT when XMAS started being written and taking out the name of CHRIST in CHRISTMAS! When I read how I had copied the heathens customs by decorating a tree with gold and silver that was cut down, again I felt shame. I know I am forgiven and so will you be, IF you read the below and repent as I have done. Follow not the ways of the heathen!

I also loved Xmas and like my husband Apostle Nikomia says, I have struggled with giving up December 25 but I know what is right and I know what is wrong. Now you also are held accountable for what you now know and read.

How can we deny this any longer for Jeremiah warned us in the scriptures.

 

Are Christmas Trees okay with YAH?

WHAT’S WRONG WITH A CHRISTMAS TREE? (by Apostle Elisheva Eliyahu)

I use to go and let my kids pick out the Christmas tree, haven’t you also done that? I didn’t think it was a god but took pride in its beauty as it was all decked out in gold and silver ornaments especially the gold

 and silver tinsel on the Christmas tree. How many of us put an angel atop the tree? We thought it meant the Holy angels right? But the truth is when we do this and we are following a heathen custom we were pleasing satan who once was the most beautiful angel of all! Worst of all we slowly killed the tree the minute we had it cut down although we tried to keep it alive with water in the pot knowing it was dying. 

Ok, you may say you used an artificial tree so your not killing a tree. Lets examine this for I did the same thing, besides the stepping on the pine needles in bare feet or the pain of sweeping them up wasn’t worth the pine smell, now was it? Why would satan have us cut down a live tree? Who is the tree of Life? Why YAHUSHUA is the branch of the tree and we are the vines right? What was YAHUSHUA crucified on, a tree! Why would satan want us to decorate a tree that symbolizes the cross our beloved Messiah hung on, was tortured on and died on ? Oh how we grieve YAHUVEH and YAHUSHUA when we did these things and did not know better. 

Remember that green or red tree stand? How many of you have the same tree stand? We don’t have to fasten the tree down with nails, we use the bolt to screw the tree so it won’t topple and it will die standing up straight, right? We don’t want the Christmas tree to move, do we? Especially when our children greedily grab for their Christmas presents excitedly on December 25, Nimrods birthday! Who is Nimrod you ask? I will get to that later.

Here is a revelation given to me while going over this page with my site manager. The Christmas tree is a MOCKERY of the death of YAHUSHUA on the cross, because both use nails (or a stand in the case of the tree) to hold them up. Both are held upright. YAHUSHUA died with nails in his hands. Perhaps, before the stand, trees were nailed down so they would stand up. Neither the tree, nor YAHUSHUA when He was on the cross, are allowed to move. Satan mocks the crucifixion. Now, knowing that, do you STILL want to have a tree in your living room and decorate it? 

The only one that will be angry that you have forsaken this pagan celebration of Xmas will be satan. I will not put the name of CHRIST in this pagan celebration for it is a lie it is not about the CHRIST we serve our YAHUSHUA! 

Have you ever noticed even the stock markets is gauged on how many toys and presents you bought that day? Have you noticed suicidal spirits hit people and more commit suicide and are depressed on that day then any other time of the year? Maybe now you will understand these people are being tormented by satan and he is trying to sacrifice them just like the evil king Nimrod killed.

The morning after the Yule log was burned, pagans would erect a tree and decorate it and surround it with presents. This represented new life to their Child-king. A couple of days after the “Holly kings” death, he came again as the “Oak King”. This practice dates back to ancient Babylon as Jeremiah states:

Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

For the customs of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. Jeremiah 10:2-5

In the Northern hemisphere, the shortest day and longest night of the year falls on December 21 or December 22 and is called the winter solstice. Many ancient people believed that the sun was a god and that winter came every year because the sun god had become sick and weak. They celebrated the solstice because it meant that at last the sun god would begin to get well. Evergreen boughs reminded them of all the green plants that would grow again when the sun god was strong and summer would return.

The ancient Egyptians worshipped a god called Ra, who had the head of a hawk and wore the sun as a blazing disk in his crown. At the solstice, when Ra began to recover from the illness, the Egyptians filled their homes with green palm rushes which symbolized for them the triumph of life over death.

The fierce Vikings in Scandinavia thought that evergreens were the special plant of the sun god, Balder.

So the origin of the Christmas Tree is deeply rooted in the worship of the sun in some form or another.

If we are truly concerned about pleasing YAHUVEH would we want to be associated at all with a custom that brings so much dishonor to him?

Now I will tell you who Nimrod is and what that babe in the manger on December 25 really is all about as well as who Nimrod’s mother is and how even she is connected to December 25.

For of old thou hast broken thy yoke, [and] burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not serve. For upon every high hill, and under every green tree, thou bowest down, playing the harlot. 

 

 

I know that many Christians reading this will be alarmed that I will dare to write against this. However, study your facts. Babylon worshiped the child-king. The great king Nimrod in his mother’s arms was center to their celebration at the solstice. Now it is true that YAHUVEH loves us so much that He gave the gift of His beloved son our Messiah named YAHUSHUA also called Jesus Christ and that we are thankful for that. However, if YAHUSHUA also called Jesus Christ were born and never died, what profit would it be to us? If he had not resurrected, would we still be redeemed?

What I am saying is his birth itself was the beginning not the end. We rate it higher than His death and that is just plain wrong. It is by his dying and being raised that we have eternal life. Remember this truth it was not the babe in the manger that was tortured and nailed to the cross it was a 33 year old Jewish man that was born from a virgin named Mary and HE is also the only begotten SON of YAHUVEH our Creator and Heavenly Father.

 

 

MARY [MARIAM] UNSCRIPTURALLY ELEVATED

The only reason that we celebrate His birth so highly is because the Catholics in an effort to elevate Mary as the mother of God, adopted the pagan tradition to worship the baby to further their agenda as to dare to put Mary as part of the GODHEAD, the HOLY TRINITY elevating her to a place where she is worshipped by Catholics and prayed to as the intercessor before YAHUVEH. 

Mary herself the Bible tells us called YAHUSHUA, her Lord. Mary also needed a SAVIOUR she also fell short of YAHUVEH’s glory otherwise it would have been Mary that was crucified as that spotless lamb of YAHUVEH for the remission of our sins. Mary never intended to be worshipped. Nowhere in the Bible does it state that she thought of herself any higher than being blessed to have given birth to YAHUSHUA. The Bible clearly states there is but one way to our ONLY HOLY FATHER GOD YAHUVEH and that is through the name of YAHUSHUA and the BLOOD of YAHUSHUA, HE is our only intercessor!

DECEMBER 25, What is it really about?

This was traditionally the celebrated birthday of Nimrod as well as the winter solstice. It cannot be when Jesus was born for a couple of reasons. First of all, the shepherds were tending their flocks at night. This would have been impossible due to inclement winter weather. Second, the census and taxation happened in the fall not the winter. Why do we celebrate on Dec 25th then? When Constantine (pictured) was emperor Christians and pagans were always fighting. He tried to bring peace to his kingdom by merging the beliefs of the two. The pagan religion celebrated winter solstice between the 21st and the 25th of December. So he made a new holiday that allowed the Christians to celebrate the birth of Jesus on that same day so everyone in his Kingdom would be celebrating.

GIFTS, What are they really about?

Many Christians claim that gifts originate either from the wise men giving gifts to the Christ child, or God’s gift to the world of Jesus. The Magi [Wise Men] gave gifts not because it was Jesus’ birthday for they arrived long after his birth, but because he was a king. Every time you came into the presence of a king in those days, you gave a gift. This was the custom. Gift giving dates back to the festivals of Saturnalia and Kalends. These both of course were celebrated during the end of December. The early gifts ranged from twigs from sacred groves for good luck to food. Later they became more elaborate like candles, or statues of their gods. 

We’ve already discussed how false religious the heathen festival of Saturnalia was. But notice that when Christians first adopted the practice the Church severely frowned upon it recognizing how pagan its origins were. And why did the Church finally consent? Because they decided it wasn’t pagan and God dishonoring? No, but because the people simply would not part with it. Could we be guilty of the same stubborn refusal to part with God dishonoring, pagan practices and witchcraft because we find them enjoyable too?

MISTLETOE, What is it really about?

The mistletoe of the sacred oak was especially sacred to the ancient Celtic Druids. On the sixth night of the moon white-robed Druid priests would cut the oak mistletoe with a golden sickle. Two white bulls would be sacrificed amid prayers that the recipients of the mistletoe would prosper. The custom of using mistletoe to decorate houses at Christmas is a survival of the Druid and other pre-Christian traditions.” It was yet another instance where Christmas has strong ties with false religious, pagan practices. 

Here is another revelation given me on the 27th of November, 2005 by YAHUVEH: When you kiss someone underneath mistletoe, you are cursing your relationship with that person if you want them to be a loved one, or if they already are. You bring a curse upon the relationship, for this is a Druid custom and yet so called Christians are partaking in it. 

 

THE YULE LOG, What is it really about?

The custom of burning the yule log began with the ancient Scandinavians who once a year burned a huge log in honor of their god Thor. After they became Christians, they made the yule log an important part of their Christmas ceremonies. This was burned in honor of their child-god and the next day after the burning of the log they would set up a tree decorated and surrounded with presents. This represented new life.

I think it is obvious that Thor is a heathen god and any ties to him are ties to false religion.

SANTA CLAUS, Who really is he?

And what of Jolly St. Nick? He is an innocent happy, jolly being right? Names after patron saint St. Nicholas right? Well, the only two things that modern St. Nick can claim from the real St. Nicholas are his name and his kindness to children. From there, the rest of the myth and tradition was added to mostly from the pagan god Thor. Thor lived up north at the top of the world in the Polar Regions. He battled ice and snow to come to our parts of the world. He had a sleigh that was driven by goats. He doled out punishments to bad children and presents to well behaved children. (Knows if you have been naughty or nice)

Two of his reindeer are named after pagan gods. Cupid (god of sexual love) and Donner (god of thunder). Many pagan cultures worshiped a hearth god who wore red, entered the house through the chimney, blessed those who pleased him and cursed those who didn’t. Food was left to appease this god. Taiwan still has a hearth god that appears on the 24th day of the 12th month to report the status of mankind to the heavens. Leaving the milk and cookies to St. Nick under the tree dates back far enough that Ezekiel warns against it…

WREATHS, What are they really about?

The wreath was a pagan tradition indicating the circle of life: Birth and death. Also the Teutonic peoples placed holly and other evergreens inside their houses to protect from evil spirits and bad winter weather 

Many Christians when faced with these truths state that it is okay though because they don’t use these things for those purposes, that the item is now Christian, that we took it over and changed it’s meaning. They use them to worship Jesus and celebrate His birth. 

To this I say, “Why don’t you wear a pentagram necklace, say that it reminds you of the star of Bethlehem or hang upside down crosses in your house saying that you are upside down without Jesus and it reminds you of that. Or start talking to Jesus through trees, after all since God is omnipresent then he is in the Trees.” That argument is insane. 

Your friends would think you were nuts and in some churches you would not even be allowed to enter the doors. Probably rightly so. This is preposterous to many of you because they are clearly pagan symbols, yet you accept the use of these other pagan symbols simply because other Christians were weak and fell before you. We can not take a symbol that is from satan and put a mask of Christianity over it and call it good.

Remember the story in Exodus 32 of the Golden calf. To summarize the people grew tired and worried because Moses was gone too long so they had Aaron make a golden calf so they would have something to worship. “And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, “Tomorrow is a feast to the Lord.” Exodus 32:5 so he turned an idol into something for the Lord “And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strewed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it. Holy Church of YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH, it is time to take a stand. It is time to tell the world that we won’t be partakers of her evil. It is time to say; “No more” to the celebrations of the pagans. 

So shall we say: “We wish you a Merry Christmas” this Christmas? YAHUVEH God forbid! And let us stop calling it “Christmas” for such defiles the name of Christ YAHUSHUA. Let us call it what it really is, The Festival of Nimrod or Bromeliad (the Roman name). Would you wish anyone a “Happy Nimrod” or a “Happy Brumalia”? 

 

 

Who’s Birthday Is December 25th? YAHUSHUA’s Or…Evil King Nimrod’s?

The word itself should be offensive to Protestants. It comes of course from Christ’s mass. Mass being a Roman Catholic service, do we really want to celebrate a Catholic service a mass! DO YOU REALLY WANT TO CELEBRATE THE SON OF BAAL? WHO STARTED SATAN WORSHIP? 

YAHUSHUA isn’t coming for a disobedient bride. You can’t say this ministry (Amightywind Ministry) did not warn you of the truth. It is your choice whether you allow the truth to set you free. 

 

MOTHER AND CHILD (by Apostle Elisheva Eliyahu)

Through the generations, in this idolatrous worship, Nimrod also became the false Messiah, son of Baal the Sun-god. In this false Babylonian system, the “Mother and Child” (Semiramis and Nimrod reborn) became chief objects of worship. This worship of “Mother and Child” spread over the world. The names varied in different countries and languages. In Egypt it was Isis and Osiris. In Asia, Cybele and Deoius. In pagan Rome, Fortuna and Jupiterpuer. Even in Greece, China, Japan, Tibet is to be found the counterpart of the Madonna, long before the birth of Christ! 

Thus, during the fourth and fifth centuries, when the pagans of the Roman world were “accepting” the new popular “Christianity” by the hundreds of thousands, carrying their old pagan customs and beliefs along with them, merely cloaking them with Christian-sounding names, the Madonna and “Mother and Child” idea also became popularized, especially at Christmas time. Every Christmas season you’ll hear sung and chanted dozens of times the hymn “Silent Night, Holy Night,” with its familiar “Mother and Child” theme. We, who have been born in such a Babylonian world, reared and steeped in these things all our lives, have been taught to revere these things as holy and sacred. We never questioned to see where they came from — whether they came from the Bible, or from pagan idolatry! 

 

TRUTH BEING HIDDEN (by Apostle Elisheva Eliyahu)

We are shocked to learn the truth — some, unfortunately, take offense at the plain truth! But God commands His faithful ministers, “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression!” Shocking as these facts are, they are the plain facts of history and the Bible! The real origin of Christmas goes back to ancient Babylon. It is bound up in the organized apostasy which has gripped a deceived world these many centuries! In Egypt, it was always believed that the son of Isis (Egyptian name for “Queen of Heaven”) was born December 25th. Paganism celebrated this famous birthday over most of the known world for centuries before the birth of Christ. 

December 25th is not the birthday of YAHUSHUA (Jesus Christ)! The apostles and early true Church never celebrated YAHUSHUA’s (Jesus Christ’s) birthday at any time. There is no command or instruction to celebrate it in the Bible! The ancient idolatrous “Chaldean Mysteries,” founded by this wife of Nimrod, have been handed down through the pagan religions under new Christian-sounding names. Origin of Holly Wreath, Mistletoe, Yule Log. Now, where did we get this mistletoe custom?

Among the ancient pagans the mistletoe was used at this festival of the winter solstice because it was considered sacred to the sun, because of its supposed miraculous healing power. The pagan custom of kissing under the mistletoe was an early step in the night of revelry and drunken debauchery–celebrating the death of the “old sun” and the birth of the new at the winter solstice. Mistletoe, sacred in pagan festivals, is a parasite! Holly berries were also considered sacred to the sun-god. The yule log is in reality the “sun log.” “Yule” means “wheel,” a pagan symbol of the sun. Yet today professing Christians speak of the “sacred yule-tide season”! 

Even the lighting of fires and candles as a Christian ceremony is merely a continuation of the pagan custom, encouraging the waning sun-god as he reached the lowest place in the southern skies! The Encyclopedia Americana says: “The holly, the mistletoe, the Yule log … are relics of pre-Christian times.” Of paganism! The book “Answers to Questions”, compiled by Frederick J. Haskins, found in public libraries, says: “The use of Christmas wreaths is believed by authorities to be traceable to the pagan customs of decorating buildings and places of worship at the feast which took place at the same time as Christmas.

The Christmas tree is from Egypt, and its origin dates from a period long anterior to the Christian Era.” Yes, and Even Santa Claus! But surely dear old Santa Claus is not a creature of pagan birth? But he is, and his real character is not so benevolent and holy as many suppose!

The name “Santa Claus” is a corruption of the name “St. Nicholas,” a Roman Catholic bishop who lived in the 5th century. Look in the Encyclopedia Britannica, volume 19, pages 648-649, 11th edition, where you’ll read: “St. Nicholas, bishop of Myra, a saint honored by the Greeks and Latins on the 6th of December. A legend of his surreptitious bestowal of dowries on the three daughters of an impoverished citizen is said to have originated the old custom of giving presents in secret on the Eve of St. Nicholas [Dec. 6], subsequently transferred to Christmas day.” Hence the association of Christmas with Santa Claus. Through the year, parents punish their children for telling falsehoods. Then, at Christmas time, they themselves tell their little children this ‘Santa Claus’ lie!

Is it any wonder many of them, when they grow up and learn the truth, begin to believe God is a myth, too? One little fellow, sadly disillusioned about Santa Claus, said to a playmate, “Yes, and I’m going to look into this ‘Jesus Christ’ business, too!” Is it Christian to teach children myths and falsehoods? God says, “Thou shalt not bear false witness!” It may seem right, and be justified by human reason, but God says, “There is a way that seemeth right to a man, but the end thereof re the ways of death!”

“Old Nick” also is a term for the devil! Is there a connection? Satan appears as an “angel of light,” to deceive! (II Corinthians. 11:14; Rev. 12:9.) And so when we examine the facts, we are astonished to learn that the practice of observing Christmas is not, after all, a true Christian practice, but a pagan custom — one of the ways of Babylon our people have fallen into! 

 

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT THE CHRISTMAS TREE? (by Apostle Elisheva Eliyahu)

But if the Bible is silent about telling us to observe Christmas, re: recordings of any such observance by the apostles or early true Church, it does have something to say about the Christmas tree! This will come as a real surprise to many. But here it is: Jeremiah 10:2-6: “Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen …. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.”

There is a perfect description of the Christmas tree, termed by the Eternal as “the way of the heathen — the customs of the people.” We are commanded not to learn that way or follow it! It is also viewed in this passage as idolatry. The fifth verse shows that these trees cannot speak — cannot walk — must be carried. “Be not afraid of them; for they [the trees] cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.” They are not gods to be feared. Some people misread this to make it say there is no harm in having a Christmas tree, but that is not what it says. 

 

 

ISN’T EXCHANGING GIFTS SCRIPTURAL?

When it comes to the most important part of all in this Christmas observance — the Christmas shopping season — the buying and exchanging of gifts — many will exclaim triumphantly, “Well, at least the Bible tells us to do that! Didn’t the wise men give gifts when Christ was born?” Again, we are due for some surprises, when we learn the plain truth. First, let’s look at the historic origin of trading gifts back and forth, then see exactly what the Bible does say about it. From the Bibliotheca Sacra, volume 12, pages 153-155, we quote: “The interchange of presents between friends is alike characteristic of Christmas and the Saturnalia, and must have been adopted by Christians from the Pagans, as the admonition of Tertullian plainly shows.”

The fact is, this custom fastened upon people of exchanging gifts with friends and relatives at the Christmas season has not a single trace of Christianity about it, strange though that may seem! This does not celebrate Christ’s birthday nor honor it or Him! Suppose someone you love has a birthday. You want to honor that person on his or her birthday. Would you lavishly buy gifts for everyone else, trading gifts back and forth with all your other friends and loved ones, but ignore completely any gift for the one whose birthday you are honoring? Rather absurd, when viewed in that light, isn’t it?

Yet this is exactly what people the world over are doing! They honor a day that is not Christ’s birthday by spending every dime they can scrape together in buying presents to trade back and forth among friends and relatives. But I can say by years of experience, as I believe most pastors and ministers can say, that when the month of December rolls around, nearly all professing Christians forget to give gifts to Christ and His cause almost altogether! 

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO PAY OFF YOUR CHRISTMAS DEBT?

December often is the most difficult month to keep Christ’s work from dying! People are too busy trading gifts back and forth among themselves to think of Him and His Work, it seems. Then, in January and even into February it seems they have to catch up from what they spent for Christmas, so they seldom get back to normal in supporting Christ and His Work before March!

Now consider what the Bible says about the wise men giving gifts when Christ was born. It is in Matthew 2:1-11. “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? … And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto HIM gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.” 

 

Why Were Gifts Presented to Jesus Christ?

Notice, they inquired for the child Jesus, who was born KING of the Jews! Now why did they present gifts to Him? Because it was His birthday? Not at all, because they came several days or weeks after the date of His birth! Was it to set an example for us, today, to trade gifts back and forth among ourselves? No, notice carefully! They did not exchange gifts among themselves, but “they presented unto HIM gifts.” They gave their gifts to Christ, not to their friends, relatives, or one another! 

 

IN REMEMBRANCE OF NIMROD

Nimrod, the grandson of Noah, became the first king known as Sargon I. He built Babylon and Nineveh. Being warlike, he wore a type of helmet with a horn in the front; a trait inherited by the druid Vikings of the Celts, descendants of the Assyrian line.

Nimrod means “tyrant”. He led the Sumerians of Babylon to pay tribute to the skies (sun, moon, stars, and planets) with the sacrifice of their children. The Tower of Babel was built for this purpose, echoed in other cultures such as the Aztecs, Mayans, and Incas.

Since the head of this government was such an idolatrous tyrant, Shem (Nimrod’s uncle) killed Nimrod. Nimrod’s mother, Semiramis, consoled the people by making them believe the child she carried was Nimrod “reincarnated”– And named him “Duzu” (Tammuz), Babylonian for the son who rises. This Duzu went into the groves (forests) and placed a gift on a tree to honor Nimrod each year at the winter solstice. It has been said that Duzu was the offspring of Nimrod, who mated with his mother. Nimrod became known as Baal, meaning Lord, and was worshipped by the Babylonians as the sun in the sky — thus the origin of “going to the heavens” at death. 

Trees and branches became symbols of Nimrod. Because Nimrod was “cut down” by Shem, a tree stump became a place of honoring him. Thus, the Hebrew Scriptures speak of the pagans going into the “groves”, and bringing a “branch to the nose,” and going into the forest and cutting down a tree, decorating it, and propping it up a so that it will not totter.

The winter solstice was the time when the sun was thought to be “reborn,” so December 25th was celebrated as Baal’s (Nimrod’s) birthday. By tradition, the artificial idea of a New Year following this birthday celebration became an integral part of every human culture, based on this pagan idolatry. Generally, all mankind is fast asleep, dreaming this old Babylonian dream. 

Christmas is an attempt by Catholicism to revise and adopt this paganism. In the year 525, a Scythian monk named Dionysius Exiguus visited Rome. He witnessed the ancient pagan celebration of the winter solstice (then called Paganalia or Saturnalia), and this offended his devout sensibilities. 

Scripture itself demands that we observe the Messiah’s death and resurrection, not His birth. But, since the pagan mind was so oriented around fertility and birth, it developed the way we see it today, blending the most important features of pagan interpretation. “Babel, the Great Mother of Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth” — has intoxicated the masses, and she herself is drunk with the blood of the set-apart ones. 

What is her name? It’s Easter! Semiramis, Nimrod’s mother, became known as “Magna Mater”, the “Great Mother”, and was worshipped as Mother Earth. The Sun “mated” with the Earth each spring, and the “Rites of Spring” symbolized by the “May Pole” and “Easter” came 9 moons/months before the December 25th “birth” of the winter Sun. Her Assyrian name, Ishtar, gives us the word “Easter”. 

The Romans called her Astarte, and the Phoenicians used Asherah. The Hebrews called her Astoroth, the consort of Baal. Her emblem is the flower of the lily. She is the “goddess of the dawn”, and her statue stands on a bridge in France. The French made a colossus of this image, and it now stands in New York Harbor, facing “East” — in itself a word referring to the rising son/sun — from which her name springs!

Nimrod “He is credited with having instigated the building of the tower of Babel and of being the author of Babylonian idolatry.” What’s more, Bryce Self found in his research that “Nimrod consolidated his power by establishing a state religion. He constructed a religion that included deification and worship of the emperor (himself), [and] worship of Satan.” The fact that this holiday may be associated with the man accredited with the start of religious opposition to YAHUVEH God should make us seriously question its approval by God. 

 

THERE’S REALLY NOTHING “MERRY” ABOUT “CHRISTMAS” (by Apostle Elisheva Eliyahu)

So shall we say: We wish you a Merry Christmas? God forbid! And let us stop calling it “Christmas,” for such defiles the name of Christ. Let us call it what it really is, The Festival of Nimrod or Brumalia (the Roman name). Would you wish anyone a “Happy Nimrod” or a “Happy Brumalia”?
