How Aaron and His Sons Will Bless the Israelites

²² Yahweh said to Moses, ²³ “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you will bless the Israelites. Say to them:

²⁴ Yahweh will bless you and watch over you.
²⁵ Yahweh will smile on you and be kind to you.
²⁶ Yahweh will look on you with favor and give you peace.’

²⁷ “So whenever they use my name to bless the Israelites, I will bless them.”

In the TORAH Portion Reading called “NASSO” (also written as “NASO”), we see YAHUVEH ELOHIM teaching the Priests amongst the Children of Israel (a.k.a the Levites) how to bless the rest of the Children of Israel. There is something to learn from this Blessing and that it that:

as mankind, we ought to practise speaking “BLESSINGS” to each other rather than “curses”!!!

Note that YAHUVEH ELOHIM emphasises how much we should proclaim HIS Name in the Blessing.

HE says that the more we proclaim HIS Name as we pronounce that Blessing, the more HE will bless HIS Children!

We are to be led by RUACH HA KODESH in this matter! We are not to go around blessing any how though. If you do it anyhow, you can end up blessing those whom YAH has not blessed or ordained for you to bless, which displeases YAH Almighty. When reading Amightywind Ministry Prophecy on the Divorce Decree from YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH, Prophet Elisabeth shares a bit about her life when married to the wrong fit (man) for her at a very young age. On one occasion based on the wrong advice given to her by a Pastor she was looking up to, she told her ex-husband that “JESUS bless you.” On pronouncing this, YAHUSHUA revealed to her how angry HE was that she allowed such words to come out of her mouth. The result of her statement was being beaten mercilessly by her ex-husband. She said that those words enraged her ex-husband the more to hurt her, hence she made a big mistake saying them. YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH whom at the time she called JESUS CHRIST really did tell her off for making that statement because she made it to the wrong person and in the wrong context!

 

YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH says the following to us:

²⁸ Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who insult you.

What did HE mean by this?

Well, YAHUSHUA meant that when people hurt you, you are not to retaliate!!! Rather you lift them up to YAH in prayer and leave the matter with YAH Almighty who created them!

¹⁷ Don’t pay people back with evil for the evil they do to you. Focus your thoughts on those things that are considered noble. ¹⁸ As much as it is possible, live in peace with everyone. ¹⁹ Don’t take revenge, dear friends. Instead, let God’s anger take care of it. After all, Scripture says, “I alone have the right to take revenge. I will pay back, says the Lord.” ²⁰ But,

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him.
If he is thirsty, give him a drink.

²¹ Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil with good.

As human beings, we are angered, we get angry, we sometimes hold onto that and end up with bitterness in our hearts which if held onto for a long time and fed, it breeds hatred, etc. Apostle Paul spends quite a bit of time on this subject. he knew how crucial it is in our Walk of Faith in YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH!

Who are the Priests of today?

Well, as per 1 Peter 2:9 and the Book of Hebrews, each and every person who has accepted YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH as their personal LORD and SAVIOUR plus carried their cross is faithfully following YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH daily is a Priest unto YAH Almighty! The Temple curtain was torn into two from top to bottom, thereby allowing easy and free access into the Holy of Holies by both Priests and High Priests to commune with ABBA YAHUVEH ELOHIM!

The High Priests are those who are truly called and appointed by YAHUVEH Almighty to work in HIS Vineyard as Spiritual Leaders to HIS people.

Both Priests and High Priests are sheep. Some are lambs because they are still very young in the Faith!

Speak Wisely

3 Brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers. You know that we who teach will be judged more severely.

² All of us make a lot of mistakes. If someone doesn’t make any mistakes when he speaks, he would be perfect. He would be able to control everything he does. ³ We put bits in the mouths of horses to make them obey us, and we have control over everything they do. ⁴ The same thing is true for ships. They are very big and are driven by strong winds. Yet, by using small rudders, pilots steer ships wherever they want them to go. ⁵ In the same way the tongue is a small part of the body, but it can brag about doing important things.
A large forest can be set on fire by a little flame. ⁶ The tongue is that kind of flame. It is a world of evil among the parts of our bodies, and it completely contaminates our bodies. The tongue sets our lives on fire, and is itself set on fire from hell. ⁷ People have tamed all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and sea creatures. ⁸ Yet, no one can tame the tongue. It is an uncontrollable evil filled with deadly poison.
⁹ With our tongues we praise our Lord and Father. Yet, with the same tongues we curse people, who were created in God’s likeness. ¹⁰ Praise and curses come from the same mouth. My brothers and sisters, this should not happen! ¹¹ Do clean and polluted water flow out of the same spring? ¹² My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree produce olives? Can a grapevine produce figs? In the same way, a pool of salt water can’t produce fresh water.
