Where did “Korah,” “Dathan,” “Abiram” and “On” as well as all the their families and followers end up after the earth swallowed them up?
SHALOM!
The following image is based on Leviticus 1:53
YAHUVEH ELOHIM has revealed over the years through various people who have had “heaven and hell experiences” as well as HIS Amightywind Ministry that hell the lake of fire is underground, that is to say, below the earth. If you want to understand what hell the lake of fire looks like, watch volcanoes. That is exactly what hell is like, full of molten lava. The interesting thing is that volcanoes also start from below the ground before surfacing onto the earth.

It is clear that Korah, Dathan and Abiram’s actions seriously affected their families, that is to say, their wives and children. Their decision to challenge the appointment by YAHUVEH GOD of Moses as Israeli Leader and the way in Moses led the Children of Israel brought YAHUVEH GOD’S Judgement in a way that nobody expected.
Note that Miryam (a.k.a Miriam) and Aaron also challenged Moses’ leadership but in a different way (See Numbers 12). They did “lashon hara”. They gossiped behind Moses’ back. Miryam was struck with “Tzaraat” (now translated as “Leprosy”) and 7 days later healed. whereas for some reason Aaron was spared perhaps because he was participant in a different way, that is to say that he was just a listener. In Korah’s case, Korah crossed the line so much more than Miryam. He got others to join him including 250 other men, some of whom were leaders of the various tribes of Israel. Korah spoke face to face with Moses without any restraint. He failed to repent.
The result was being swallowed by the ground straight to hell the lake of fire.
“Korah, Dathan, Abiram and On” were seen by YAHUVEH GOD as “Judas!”
Why?
Korah and his Levite followers betrayed their fellow Levites and most especially their brother Moses! As Levites, they were a family! They were meant to stand together. They were meant to protect each other and help their fellow Levites in any way they could!
Just as Judas who closely walked with YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH betrayed YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH by joining hands with HIS enemies, As an appointed and ordained servant of YAHUVEH GOD to Aaron and the Children of Israel, Korah and his Levite followers betrayed YAHUVEH GOD by betraying Moses. He encouraged others to become jealous of Moses and then join him to fight against Moses. They used their mouths to fight. Their words reached the Heavens. YAHUVEH GOD responded. Remember that Moses was imbued with the GLORY OF YAHUVEH/DIVINE PRESENCE OF YAHUVEH!
Note that YAHUVEH GOD has revealed that in the same in which the earth/ground opened up and swallowed the Korathites, their families, followers and possessions, so will it be for every Abortion Clinic all over the world.
Most of the followers of Korah were Levites and others Reubenites hence leaders. Reuben was the official first born of Jacob/Israel but he lost his inheritance to three of his brothers, namely, Levi, Judah and Joseph.
Numbers 3:1,11-13 Names of God Bible (NOG)
The Tribe of Levi Is Registered and Assigned Duties
3 This is the list of Aaron and Moses’ descendants at the time when Yahweh spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai.
11 Yahweh said to Moses, 12 “Out of all the Israelites, I have taken the Levites to be substitutes for every firstborn male offspring among them. The Levites are mine, 13 because every firstborn is mine. The day I killed every firstborn male in Egypt, I set apart as holy every firstborn in Israel, whether human or animal. They will be mine. I am Yahweh.”
Additionally,
Numbers 8:13-20 Names of God Bible (NOG)
13 Make the Levites stand in front of Aaron and his sons, and present them as an offering to Yahweh. 14 In this way you will separate the Levites from the other Israelites, and the Levites will be mine.
15 “Once you have made them clean and presented them as an offering, the Levites may come and do their work at the tent of meeting. 16 They will be the only Israelites given to me. I have taken them to be mine as substitutes for every firstborn male offspring of the Israelites. 17 Every firstborn in Israel, whether human or animal, is mine. The day I killed every firstborn male in Egypt, I set them apart as holy to me. 18 So I have taken the Levites as substitutes for all the firstborn sons of the Israelites. 19 The Levites will be the only Israelites I give to Aaron and his sons. They will work for the Israelites at the tent of meeting. They will make peace with the Lord for the Israelites. Then no plague will strike the Israelites when they come near the holy place.”
20 Moses, Aaron, and the whole community of Israel did what Yahweh commanded Moses to do to the Levites. 21 The Levites performed the ceremonies to take away their sins and washed their clothes. Aaron presented them as an offering to Yahweh and made peace with the Lord for them in order to make them clean. 22 After that, the Levites came and did their work at the tent of meeting in the presence of Aaron and his sons. They did as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
Remember that as per Numbers 3 and 8, the Levites had all been consecrated to YAHUVEH GOD ALmighty as First Borns and therefore leaders to the rest of the Israelites. They were to lead by example! If there was serious commotion amongst the leadership of the Israelites , it obviously affected the rest of Israel in a bad way. YAHUVEH GOD therefore had to weed them out of Israel as they were going to ruin the rest of Israel.
If the Levites who were the First Borns at the time, it means that they had a very serious obligation and responsibility unto YAHUVEH GOD and HIS People, the rest of Israel. They were expected to be behave in a particular manner befitting a leader. If they had any problem or grumbling within them concerning something YAHUVEH GOD had chosen for them, for example Moses as their main leader, they were to take it to YAHUVEH GOD in prayer or even approach Moses in a much more friendly way.
In the same way, in a workplace, if you have a problem, you talk your boss in a presentable manner. It is not right to grumble amongst your fellow employees and/or even gang up on your boss in a bad way without any warning or even first notifying him of the concern at hand.
First borns are called to lead by example. They are not to behave like Satan. First borns are usually easily copied by the other siblings so if their behaviour is out of line and not corrected, know that, that family is in serious trouble as most likely there will be no good future for that family.
Numbers 8:15-19 Names of God Bible (NOG)
Note that YAHUVEH GOD said that the Levites were the only Israelites who could make peace with YAHUVEH The LORD on behalf of Israel.
This was a serious obligation to bear.
Korah and his followers did not make peace! Rather they caused discord.
Imagine in everyday terms working for a company where the top bosses/leadership are having serious problems amongst each other. If those problems are not resolved, they would end up being seen by the rest of the subordinates hence bringing about disorder, discord and very poor performance of the business. The people below always look up to the people at the top. This is why governments have to quickly resolve their issues before a bigger problem breaks out in their countries.
Satan, was a leader angel in the Heavens before he was cast out for the reason of disobedience and rebellion. Before being cast out, he caused many subordinate angels to fall together with him by sweet-talking them into starting a battle against YAH ALmighty! This is revealed to Adam by one of the Holy Angels who resisted and remained in the Heavens. This is recorded in the First Book of Adam and Eve. YAHUVEH GOD built him hell the lake of fire and sent him plus all the other angels he fell with there. Sadly, they have access to earth and can roam around at any time they wish hence so much evil all over the earth. This has an expiry date which is at the end of the Great Tribulation.
Revelation 12:7-9 New King James Version (NKJV)
Satan Thrown Out of Heaven
7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they [a]did not prevail, nor was a place found for [b]them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Satan caused disorder in the Shammayim/Heavens! He had to leave and all who had joined him to do evil against YAHUVEH GOD ALmighty!
That was a diversion.
Numbers 16:1-3 Names of God Bible (NOG)
Korah’s Rebellion
16 Korah (son of Izhar), Dathan and Abiram (sons of Eliab), and On (son of Peleth) dared to challenge Moses.[a] (Korah was a descendant of Kohath and Levi. Dathan, Abiram, and On were descendants of Reuben.) 2 These four men were joined by 250 Israelite men, well-known leaders of the community, chosen by the assembly. 3 They came together to confront Moses and Aaron and said to them, “You’ve gone far enough! Everyone in the whole community is holy, and Yahweh is among them. Why do you set yourselves above Yahweh’s assembly?”
“Korah, Dathan, Abiram and On” before going to complain to Moses about Moses also persuaded all the leadership appointed over each tribe to join them to do evil together. This was very bad. The sad things is that they fell into the leaders agreed. This is what Satan did in the Heavens before being cast out. Satan obviously entered “Korah, Dathan, Abiram, and On” and tempted them to carry out those evil actions. They succumbed and failed to restrain themselves. The result was a big loss, even for their families.
Moses was such a good leader because he was a very humble man. When Korah , Dathan and Abiram as well as their followers (a.k.a the other Korathites) spoke against Moses to Moses, Moses immediately fell down on his knees and cried out unto YAHUVEH GOD. Additionally, he addressed the Korathites. He gave them a chance to repent. He also said to them to bring their incense burners.
Numbers 16:4-11 Names of God Bible (NOG)
Korah’s Rebellion
16 4 As soon as Moses heard this, he bowed with his face touching the ground. 5 Then he said to Korah and all his followers, “In the morning Yahweh will show who belongs to him, who is holy, and who it is that he will allow to come near him. Only the person Yahweh chooses will be allowed to come near him. 6 Korah, you and all your followers must do this tomorrow: Take incense burners, 7 and put burning coals and incense in them in Yahweh’s presence. Then Yahweh will choose the man who is holy. You’ve gone far enough!”
8 Moses also said to Korah, “Listen, you Levites! 9 Isn’t it enough for you that the Elohim of Israel has separated you from the rest of the community of Israel? Yahweh has brought you near himself to do the work for his tent and stand in front of the community to serve them. 10 He has brought you and all the other Levites near himself, but now you demand to be priests. 11 So you and all your followers have joined forces against Yahweh! Who is Aaron that you should complain about him?”
They further rebelled against Moses by not showing up when he asked them to do so! Big mistake! When Moses felt he had had enough, HE handed over to YAHUVEH GOD to deal with them. He prayed a prayer which YAHUVEH answered without reservation. YAHUVEH too had, had enough with the Israelites and in this case, the Korathites.
It is important not to push your spiritual leader to the point of asking YAH to bring HIS judgment upon you!
Numbers 16:28-30,35 Names of God Bible (NOG)
Korah’s Rebellion
16 28 Moses said, “This is how you will know that Yahweh sent me to do all these things and that it wasn’t my idea: 29 If these men die like all other people—if they die a natural death—then Yahweh hasn’t sent me. 30 But if Yahweh does something totally new—if the ground opens up, swallows them and everything that belongs to them, and they go down alive to their graves—then you’ll know that these men have treated Yahweh with contempt.”
35 Fire came from Yahweh and consumed the 250 men who were offering incense.[b]
It is clear that the Korathites were jealous. They did not like the fact that they were Levites but were not given any duties in the Tabernacle. They felt cheated. They also hated that amongst them all, YAHUVEH GOD chose Moses and whenever they were to take certain steps, they waited on Moses to hear from YAHUVEH before giving instructions on what to do. They were fed up. They wondered why YAHUVEH GOD did not use them mightily in the same ways in which HE used Moses and the Priests. They even went as far as asking Moses why he thinks of himself as more holy than them.
Now, the way to handle this was to talk to Moses and ask him to pray unto YAHUVEH GOD for answers but rather, they challenged Moses. Note that when YAHUVEH GOD chose Moses to lead and Moses spent so much time in HIS Divine Presence, despite Moses living in the flesh, Moses was RUACH-led. Moses was YAH’S Divine Instrument to bring about YAH’S Divine Plan to pass. Moses was no longer living for himself but for YAH ALmighty therefore anybody who challenged him in a bad way, certainly challenged the ALmighty GOD who had appointed and ordained him. That’s a very dangerous move. Also remember that in the previous chapters, most, if not all the camp of Israel had decreed that YAHUVEH GOD should just let them die in the desert. That’s exactly what YAHUVEH GOD granted them! The Korathites sped their earthly death (soon after the Numbers 13 event). They also lost their place in the Shammayim/Heavens.
Note the word, “pit” used in some translations of the WORD OF YAH when describing where the Korathites.
It reminds of “the pits of hell the lake of fire.”
Moses had tried to reason with the Korathites but they failed to exercise self-controla very important ingredient in life management and enjoying long life. Moses also tried to demonstrate to them that they were not yet called for full Priesthood but their frustrations caused them not to pay attention to their wrong-doing and stop their grumblings . They forgot the mighty GOD who had brought them thus far. They forgot that he ALmighty GOD who had brought them thus far was actually listening to them and could bring HIS judgement upon them at any time.
Sadly, even after YAHUVEH GOD’S display of HIS Judgement upon the Korathites, the Israelites went ahead and grumbled to Moses and Aaron once more. They had not learned from what happened to the Korathites.
What was the result?
Death through a plague of some kind.
Remember that the:
Romans 6:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Numbers 16:41-50 Names of God Bible (NOG)
Korah’s Rebellion
16 41 The next day the whole community of Israel complained to Moses and Aaron. They said, “You have killed Yahweh’s people.” 42 The community came together to confront Moses and Aaron. When they turned toward the tent of meeting, they saw the smoke covering it, and the glory of Yahweh appeared.
43 Then Moses and Aaron went to the front of the tent of meeting. 44 Yahweh said to Moses, 45 “Get away from these people, and let me destroy them in an instant!” Immediately, they bowed with their faces touching the ground.
46 Moses said to Aaron, “Take your incense burner, put burning coals from the altar and incense in it, and go quickly into the community to make peace with the Lord for the people. Yahweh is showing his anger; a plague has started.”
47 Aaron took his incense burner, as Moses told him, and ran into the middle of the assembly, because the plague had already begun among the people. He put incense on the incense burner to make peace with the Lord for the people. 48 He stood between those who had died and those who were still alive, and the plague stopped. 49 Still, 14,700 died from the plague in addition to those who had died because of Korah. 50 By the time Aaron came back to Moses at the entrance to the tent of meeting, the plague had stopped.
YAHUVEH GOD felt that the Israelites needed to be taught a serious lesson and that there were yet still some Israelites who needed to be weeded out of the Israelite camp so as to make a better people of Israel, a people HE would not be a shamed of to the rest of the world!
Piece of Advice, In Conclusion:
If you have a problem with your leader whether spiritual or physical, go to YAHUVEH GOD in prayer concerning the matter. You can also, with wisdom approach the leader in question or his elders and open up about your concerns. There are some who can not be approached. In that case, it is better to move on. If you feel that your relationship with a spiritual or physical leader is breached and causes you to grumble all the time, then it is better to go somewhere else. If the leader is your husband, then you have to spend as much time with YAH as possible to guide you on how to deal with the matter. Seek good counsel keeping in mind that your counsellors can and will be held responsible by YAHUVEH GOD for the way in which they guide you concerning the matter. Choose wisely!
James 3 Tree of Life Version (TLV)
Dangerous Tongue
3 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers and sisters, since you know that we will receive a stricter judgment. 2 For we all stumble in many ways. If someone does not stumble in speech, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well. 3 And if we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we guide their whole body as well. 4 See also the ships—though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs. 5 So also the tongue is a small member—yet it boasts of great things.[a] See how so small a fire sets a blaze so great a forest! 6 And the tongue is a fire.[b] The tongue is a world of evil placed among our body parts. It pollutes the whole body and sets on fire the course of life—and is set on fire by Gehenna.
7 For every species of beasts and birds, reptiles and sea creatures, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. 8 But no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. [c] 9 With it we bless our Adonai and Father, and with it we curse people, who are made in the image of God. [d] 10 From the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be. 11 A spring doesn’t pour out fresh and bitter water from the same opening, does it? 12 My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree produce olives, or a vine produce figs? Neither can salt water produce fresh water.
Gentle Wisdom from Above
13 Who among you is wise and understanding? By his good conduct let him show his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil practice. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, not hypocritical. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in shalom by those who make shalom.[e]
Galatians 5:21-23 Common English Bible (CEB)
21 jealousy, drunkenness, partying, and other things like that. I warn you as I have already warned you, that those who do these kinds of things won’t inherit God’s kingdom.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against things like this.
Revelation 21 Tree of Life Version (TLV)
A New Heaven and a New Earth
21
The New Jerusalem
9 Then came one of the seven angels holding the seven bowls full of the seven final plagues, and he spoke with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
10 Then he carried me away in the Ruach to a great and high mountain,[g]and he showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God—her radiance like a most precious stone, like a jasper, sparkling like crystal. 12 She had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and above the gates twelve angels. On the gates were inscribed the names of the twelve tribes of Bnei-Yisrael— 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. [h] 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve emissaries of the Lamb.
15 The angel speaking with me had a gold measuring rod to measure the city and its gates and walls. [i] 16 The city is laid out as a square—its length the same as its width. He measured the city with the rod—12,000 stadia.[j] Its length and width and height are equal. 17 He also measured its wall—144 cubits by human measurement, which is also an angel’s measurement. 18 The material of the city’s wall was jasper, while the city was pure gold, clear as glass. 19 The foundations of the city wall were decorated with every kind of precious stone—the first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; 20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, carnelian; the seventh, yellow topaz; the eighth; beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls—each of the gates was from a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass.
22 I saw no temple in her, for its Temple is Adonai Elohei-Tzva’ot and the Lamb. 23 And the city has no need for the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb. [k] 24 The nations shall walk by its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it. [l] 25 Its gates shall never be shut by day,[m] for there shall be no night there! 26 And they shall bring into it the glory and honor of the nations. 27 And nothing unholy[n] shall ever enter it, nor anyone doing what is detestable or false,[o] but only those written in the Book of Life.
