Note that the RAINBOW bears 7 COLOURS, a sign of YAH’S PERFECTION all round.

Some of these colours ended becoming the PRIMARY COLOURS.

 

It is a beautiful and colorful aspect of YAHUVEH ELOHIM’S world, but it’s also a reminder of tragedy. We are taught not to stare at it, but we do make a special blessing when it appears in the sky.

Covenant with Noah’s Descendants

¹³ My rainbow do I place in the cloud, and it will be a sign of the covenant between Me and the land. ¹⁴ Whenever I bring clouds over the land and the rainbow appears in the clouds, ¹⁵ I will remember My covenant that is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all flesh. ¹⁶ When the rainbow is in the cloud, I will look at it, to remember the perpetual covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the land.”

¹⁷ Then God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have confirmed between Me and all flesh that is on the land.”

 

 

QUESTIONS TO PONDER ON

DOES THE RAINBOW somehow relate to JOSEPH’S MULTI-COLOURED COAT ?

DOES THE RAINBOW somehow have any relation with the fact that HUMAN BEINGS / MANKIND were created with VARYING SKIN COLOURS, NATIONALITIES, CHARACTERISTICS, PERSONALITIES?

Does the RAINBOW somehow relate to the NEW JERUSALEM?

Does the RAINBOW somehow relate to the HIGH PRIEST’S GARMENT?

Does the RAINBOW somehow relate to the 12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL and 12 DISCIPLES / APOSTLES of YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH?

Does the RAINBOW somehow relate to our DREAMS and VISIONS?

 

As a result of the MORAL DECAY of the generation, 1,656 years after the world was created, YAH flooded the world and destroyed it. The only survivors of the Flood were Noah, his family and the animals that were on the ark with them.

After a year, when they were finally able to leave the ark. Noah built an altar and brought sacrifices to YAH What happened next is recounted in the Torah portion of Noah.

YAH smelled the good smell [of Noah’s sacrifices] and He said to Himself: I will no longer curse the land because of man, since man’s inclination is evil from the time of his youth. I will never again destroy all living things, as I’ve just done…

And YAH said to Noah and his sons: I will keep my covenant with you and your descendants…and never again will a flood destroy all life, and there will not be another flood destroying the earth….This is the SIGN  I am making, testifying to the covenant between Me and you and all living souls, forever:

I have put my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between Myself and the world. When I send clouds over the earth, the RAINBOW  will be seen in the clouds, and I will remember the covenant between Myself and yourselves and all living souls, and there will never again be a FLOOD to destroy all life. The RAINBOW  will be in the clouds and I will see it and remember the eternal covenant between YAH and all the living souls on earth.

After the Flood, the CREATOR promised that—in spite of how man might SIN—He would never again make a flood that would destroy the world. He created the RAINBOW as a SIGN, a reminder of this COVENANT He made with the world.

 

What Blessing Do We Say When Seeing a Rainbow?

When a rainbow appears in the sky, it is considered a sign that we have sinned, but YAH  has remembered His covenant. Therefore, when seeing a RAINBOW, it is appropriate to thank YAH  for not making another flood. We thank YAH by making a special blessing.

 

The following is the blessing said when a RAINBOW is seen in the sky:

“Blessed are You, YAHUVEH / YAHWEH, Ruler of the world, who remembers the covenant, who is faithful to His covenant, and who stands by His word.”

 

It is said that “JOSEPH’S MULTI-COLOURED COAT/TUNIC” looks very much like “THE RAINBOW!”

Joseph Dreams of Greatness

37 Now Jacob dwelt in the land where his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. ² This is the history of Jacob.

Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. And the lad was with the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives; and Joseph brought a bad report of them to his father.

³ Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a TUNIC OF MANY COLOURS. ⁴ But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him.

⁵ Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more. ⁶ So he said to them, “Please hear this dream which I have dreamed: ⁷ There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.”

⁸ And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.

⁹ Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”

¹⁰ So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” ¹¹ And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

 

Joseph was the long-awaited FRUIT OF THE WOMB from Jacob’s/Israel’s more beloved wife Rachel. He was a very special person and in fact ended arousing jealousy amongst his brothers. I would like to think that Jacob most likely saw a lot of himself in Jacob/Israel because JOSEPH seemed to be the only one amongst his children who was receiving DREAMS and VISIONS from YAH on a regular basis.

 

The RAINBOW and MULTI-COLOURED COAT / TUNIC were significant in various ways, one of which being the fact that they depicts how beauty our YAH (a.k.a GOD) Almighty and how much HE loves variety.

 

 

Note that those who belong to YAH and are the TRUE BRIDE AND GUESTS OF YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH are multi-coloured / multi-racial.

There were 12 TRIBES formed from ISRAEL and named after ISRAEL’S 12 SONS.

These 12 Tribes included multi-racial people.

 

YAH’S Amightywind Ministry 90 actually touches on this subject. It reveals that it was

RUACH HA KODESH (whose personal name is SHKINYINYAH GLORY) who actually designed the various colours of skins that human beings have! RUACH HA KODESH designated the various skin colours to each and every individual human being accordingly. 

 

RUACH HA KODESH then went on to design the Personality and Characters as well as Voices.

 

ABBA YAHUVEH ELOHIM creates then RUACH HA KODESH adds colour and beauty to the creation. This is includes animals, foods, etc.

 

 

 

Note the colours on the High Priest’s Breastplate and how similar they are to those of the rainbow as well.

 

It is also important to look at the COLOURS that YAH asked to be placed on the HIGH PRIEST’S GARMENT as seen in Exodus. Link them to the TEMPERAMENTS or Personalities / Characteristics of each of the Children of Israel (a.k.a Jacob).
