The number 2 conveys the meaning of a UNION, DIVISION or the VERIFICATION of facts by WITNESSES.
1. A man and woman, though two in number, are made ONE in marriage [Genesis 2:23 – 24].
There is also the UNION between YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH and HIS BODY which is also sometimes referred to as THE MESSIANIC COMMUNITY or Church [see 1 Corinthians 12].
2. The TESTIMONY OF YAH is divided into OLD and New TESTAMENTS a.k.a COVENANTS.
HIS AGREEMENTS with mankind are divided into OLD and NEW COVENANTS.
And, though 2 in number, YAH THE FATHER [YAHUVEH a.k.a YAHWEH] and GOD THE SON (YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH) compose a single GODHEAD [John 10:30; 17:21-23].

3. The first man, Adam, sinned and brought death and destruction into the world. YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH, however, as the second (or last) Adam brings THE HOPE of THE RESURRECTION and ETERNAL LIFE [1 Corinthians 15:21 – 22, 45 – 49].
4. At the minimum, the TESTIMONY of at least 2 people were needed in the OLD TESTAMENT to convict someone of a crime or sin. The validity of this teaching of 2 people needed was confirmed by the Apostle Paul [1 Timothy 5:19, Titus 3:10].
5. In the End Time, TWO WITNESSES [Zechariah 4; Revelation 11] will appear on the world scene to TESTIFY and UPHOLD the TRUTH OF YAH against the Beast, B H Obama and the False Prophet, Pope Francis.
YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH sent the disciples out in groups of 2 so that they could not only TESTIFY about HIS TEACHINGS and MIRACLES, but also be WITNESSES of those who accepted or rejected THE GOSPEL [Mark 6:7-13].
6. Two can also convey comparison and contrast. The OLD COVENANT is based on PHYSICAL BLESSINGS FOR OBEDIENCE while THE NEW COVENANT is based on those that are SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS FOR OBEDIENCE.
7. In the OLD COVENANT/TESTAMENT, PHYSICAL CIRCUMCISION was required in order to be considered part of YAH’S people, while the NEW requires SPIRITUAL CIRCUMCISION of BOTH the heart of males and females and THE PHYSICAL CIRCUMCISION OF MALES.
YAH formerly requires OBEDIENCE only to the “letter” of HIS LAWS however HE now also calls upon man to OBEY their SPIRITUAL INTENT as led by HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT as well.
8. There are twenty-two books in the Aaronic (Levitical) OLD COVENANT/TESTAMENT, which is THE LIGHT OF YAH for ISRAEL.
There are twenty-two generations from Adam to Jacob.
When Moshe raised up the TABERNACLE OF YAH there were exactly 22,000 Levites consecrated to serve.
9. LIGHT is used twenty-two times in the GOSPEL of John. At the 22nd time, YAHUchanan [John] uses the WORD, he quotes YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH:
“I have come as a LIGHT into the world . . .”
[John 12:46].
