SHALOM!

MATZAH – pierced for our transgressions that we may be freed from slavery/bondage to Satan.

At every PESACH/PASSOVER Seder Table, you will find 3 pieces of MATZAH (a.k.a UNLEAVENED BREAD).

What are they there for?

Well, the answer is simple:

GOD THE HOLY TRINITY

as follows:

• GOD THE FATHER whose name is YAHUVEH (although written as YAHWEH)

• GOD THE SON whose name is YAHUSHUA (was changed by mankind to YESHUA/JESUS, etc)

• GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT whose name is SHKINYINYAH GLORY but also called IMMAYAH, RUACH HA KODESH, WISDOM, SHALOM

So you see that there is proof of YAH (a.k.a ELOHIM meaning GOD) all around us.

YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH defended the RUACH HA KODESH as though SHE is a person (not an “it”)! See the following Holy Scripture:

³⁰ “Whoever isn’t with me is against me. Whoever doesn’t gather with me scatters. ³¹ So I can guarantee that people will be forgiven for any sin or cursing. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven in this world or the next.

So there, The:

• TOP piece of matzah which represents YAH (a.k.a ELOHIM meaning GOD) THE FATHER (Head of GOD THE HOLY TRINITY)

• MIDDLE piece of matzah which represents YAH THE SON (The MASHIACH/MESSIAH and GREAT HIGH PRIEST – Mediator between YAH THE FATHER and mankind)

• BOTTOM piece of matzah which represents YAH THE HOLY SPIRIT (The Comforter, Advocate, The Teacher, The ONE who Convicts)

Interestingly, the BOTTOM piece of MATZAH is associated with the Temple of YAH when saying Blessings before eating it.

Why is this the case?

Well, let us look at the following Holy Scriptures:

Exodus 40:34-35 New Living Translation (NLT)

The Lord’s Glory Fills the Tabernacle

³⁴ Then the cloud covered the Tabernacle, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle. ³⁵ Moses could no longer enter the Tabernacle because the cloud had settled down over it, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.

Note that before the GLORY of YAH entered the Tabernacle, it was just an ordinary building. The GLORY of YAH made it something worthwhile. The GLORY of YAH is crucial in this world. Without it we are nothing!!!

The Believers Are Filled with the Holy Spirit

2 When Pentecost, the fiftieth day after Passover, came, all the believers were together in one place. ² Suddenly, a sound like a violently blowing wind came from the sky and filled the whole house where they were staying. ³ Tongues that looked like fire appeared to them. The tongues arranged themselves so that one came to rest on each believer. ⁴ All the believers were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.

Note that before receiving the RUACH HA KODESH, YAHUSHUA’S disciples were nobodies and were in fact limited in their task of evangelism as assigned by YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH before HIS Ascension into the Heavens!

The receiving of the GLORY of YAH (a.k.a RUACH HA KODESH) empowered them more than ever before. They lacked fear of anyone and anything. They acted with very strong FAITH in YAH throughout their lives.
Their bodies became Holy Temples of YAH ever since that Holy Day of SHAVUOT!

¹⁹ Don’t you know that your body is a temple that belongs to the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit, whom you received from God, lives in you. You don’t belong to yourselves. ²⁰ You were bought for a price. So bring glory to God in the way you use your body.

The Holy Scripture below reveals how important the GLORY of YAH is as well as HIS Holy Temple:

⁴ Yahweh’s glory came into the temple through the east gate.

Remember that YAHWEH’S Glory is SHKINYINYAH GLORY whom we know as RUACH HA KODESH (or HOLY SPIRIT)!

Here is Ezekiel 43:1-. Note that it focuses so much on the temple in great detail! It is important to YAH!

The Glory of the Lord Fills the New Temple

43 Then the man took me to the east gate. ² I saw the glory of the Elohim of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the sound of rushing water, and the earth was shining because of his glory. ³ This vision was like the one I saw when he came^[a] to destroy Jerusalem and like the one I saw by the Chebar River. I immediately bowed down. ⁴ Yahweh’s glory came into the temple through the east gate.

⁵ The Ruach lifted me and brought me into the inner courtyard. I saw Yahweh’s glory fill the temple. ⁶ I heard someone speaking to me from inside the temple while the man was standing beside me. ⁷ The voice said to me, “Son of man, this is the place where my throne is and the place where my feet rest. This is where I will live among the Israelites forever. Then the people of Israel and their kings will no longer dishonor my holy name by acting like prostitutes, nor will they dishonor it with the dead bodies of their kings. ⁸ They put their doorway by my doorway and their doorposts by my doorposts. Only a wall separated me from them. They dishonored my holy name because of the disgusting things that they have done. Then write these things down for them so that they can remember its design and follow all its rules.

Without the GLORY of YAH, the Temple of YAH is more like “ichabod”. This is the word which YAH uses in HIS Holy Scriptures and YAH’S Amightywind Ministry Holy Prophecies.

YAHUVEH GOD Almighty is calling some churches in this day and age, “ichabod” because HIS RUACH HA KODESH is not there!

²¹ She called the boy Ichabod [No Glory], saying, “Israel’s glory is gone,” because the ark of Elohim had been captured and because her father-in-law and her husband died.

The MIDDLE piece of MATZAH is broken and shared as part of Holy Communion.

There is more focus on this piece than the other two pieces of matzah.

Note how the MATZAH bread has holes in it. Why is this the case?

Remember that this is a season in which we commemorate the BEATING, CRUCIFIXION, DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION on our MASHIACH/MESSIAH who is YAHUSHUA! Many know HIM as JESUS CHRIST or YESHUA and many other translations of the name. However, the name YAHUSHUA carries a much greater anointing than them all!!!

The larger piece of the broken MATZAH is called the AFIKOMEN (sometimes written as AFIKOMAN). This piece is usually hidden away and used as dessert at the end of the meal. it is what YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH shared with HIS disciples at the end of HIS LAST SUPPER with them. It is mentioned and used as HOLY COMMUNION basis through the Gospels as well as the rest of the New Covenant/Testament. Click here for more information on this.

The TOP MATZAH (which represents GOD THE FATHER)…..

……together with the left over MIDDLE MATZAH (which represents GOD THE SON) is used when making what is known as the “Hillel Sandwich”. This sandwich involves breaking up the matzah into about 2 or 4 pieces. One or two of the pieces depending on how many you have is pasted with bitter herbs and horseraddish while the other one or two is or are used to placed on top of the bitter herbs and horseraddish, thereby making a sandwich.

Afterwards, another piece of whole MATZAH is broken up in the same way to a CHAROSET Sandwich.

The more traditional way is to make the sandwich with the bitter herbs, horseraddish and charoset.

Hillel read the words of the Torah about the Pesach lamb, “on matzah and bitter herbs you shall eat it,” and he took it literally… And so the sandwich was named after him.

This part of the PASSOVER Seder is called “KORECH” in Hebrew. The Blessing goes something like this:

In memory of the Temple: When the Temple still stood, Hillel would make a sandwich of MATZAH and MAROR and eat them together, for it is said, “They shall eat it with MATZAH and BITTER HERBS.”

Symbolized in the sandwich is Hillel’s positive approach to all the hardships in his life.

In conclusion,

the 3 Pieces of MATZAH we traditionally have on Passover Seder Tables are so very significant spiritually and physically.

YAH loves mankind so very much. HE wants to be involved their every area of their lives, if only they let HIM!

YAH has revealed HIMSELF in various ways around the around through everyday stuff as well as other specially unusual ways.
