EliYAHU/Elijah & Chanokh (a.k.a Hanok)/Enoch, where are they?

ELIJAH (The Tishbite) & ENOCH (The Man Who walked with YAH Until He Was No More), where are they?

SHALOM!

The Holy Biblical Scriptures tell us in the Genesis 5 that Enoch walked with YAH (a.k.a ELOHIM) Almighty until he was no more. What does this imply?

The Holy Biblical Scriptures also tell us in 2 Kings 2 that EliYAHU Ha Navi/Prophet Elijah the Tishbite after crossing the River Jordan with Prophet Elisha (his predecessor) was taken up in a chariot of fire. What does this mean?

Our understanding as believers in YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH whom some call JESUS CHRIST and YESHUA is that both Enoch and Elijah who were in fact YAH’S Holy Prophets while on earth did not experience death – the usual and ordained transition of mankind into eternity.

So, one wonders, where did they go?

Where are they now?

Well, interestingly, YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH after HIS resurrection (and before HIS ascension on the Mount of Olives) actually told HIS Disciples/Apostles where Enoch and Elijah are. See the account further down.

The following were YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S words to HIS Disciples/Apostles after HIS resurrection and before HIS ascension to the HEAVENS:

HISTORY OF JOSEPH THE CARPENTER

CHAPTER XXXI

And our Saviour answered and said, Now indeed is the prophecy of my Father fulfilled concerning Adam for his disobedience. And all things are disposed according to the nod and will of my Father. If a man setteth aside the command of God, and followeth the works of the devil by committing sin, his age is prolonged: thus, indeed, is he preserved alive that, perchance, he may repent, and consider that he must be delivered into the hand of death. And if anyone hath been zealous of good works, also his time of life is prolonged, that as the fame of his old age increaseth good men may imitate him. But when ye see a man whose soul is hasty to wrath, his days are surely shortened; for it is these who are taken away in the flower of their age. Therefore every prophecy, which my Father hath uttered [126] concerning the sons of men, must in all respects be fulfilled. But as to Enoch and Elijah, that they continue alive to this day, retaining the same bodies with which they were born, and as to my father Joseph to whom continuance in his body is not allotted as to them; verily, even if a man lives many myriads of years in the world, he is nevertheless compelled at some time to exchange life for death. And I tell you, my brethren, that these same men (Enoch and Elijah), must return into the world at the end of time, and depart this life, namely in the day of commotion, terror, anguish, and affliction. For the Anti-christ will slay four bodies, and will shed their blood like water, for the reproach to which they will expose him, and the ignominy wherewith, when they have detected his impiety, while they live they will brand him.

CHAPTER XXXII

And we said, our Lord, our God and Saviour, who are those four that thou saidst Antichrist would put out of the way because of their rebuke? The Saviour answered. They are Enoch, Elijah, Shila, and Tabitha. When we heard this word from our Saviour, we rejoiced and were glad, and offered all [127] glory and thanksgiving to the Lord God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. He it is to whom is due glory, honour, dignity, dominion, power, and praise, as well as to the good Father with him, and to the Holy life-giving Spirit henceforth and at all time for ever and ever. Amen.

Additionally, YAH has revealed prophetically where Enoch and Elijah are through Apostle/Prophet Elisheva EliYAHU of AMIGHTYWIND MINISTRY.

Furthermore, “THE  BOOK OF ENOCH” and “THE BOOK OF THE SECRETS OF ENOCH” gives some useful information as to what happened to Enoch.

Finally Genesis 5, Hebrews 11 and 2 Kings 2 give some useful information. When compared to Matthew 24 and some other scriptures, we gain insight into what happened to Enoch and Elijah and where they are.

Elijah and Enoch are in the Shammayim/Heavens with YAH Almighty

They walked faithfully with YAH while on earth. Their reward was not to see death. They were translated to Heaven.

What does “translated to HEAVEN” mean?

Well, it means Raptured (a.k.a Harvested).

Elijah and Enoch were actually raptured (a.k.a Harvested from this earth) and are in the Shammayim/Heavens with YAH Almighty.

Enoch and Elijah were very great men of YAH (a.k.a ELOHIM) Almighty. This is because while they were on this earth, there was a point in time when dwelling in YAH’S Presence more and more in fellowship with YAH, the GLORY OF YAH rubbed onto them so much that they were unable to to tolerate sin and evil at all!

It says in the Book of Enoch that Enoch having had several encounters with YAH got to a certain point in his life whereby he could no longer live with his people. The HOLINESS OF YAH had rubbed onto him so all he saw was what YAH saw while on this earth. He only came to visit them once  a week, then once a month, then once a every few months until it was once a year.

YAHUVEH GOD Almight gave Enoch the greatest opportunity ever before he left this earth and that was to visit all of YAHUVEH GOD’S creation in great detail. YAHUVEH GOD even told Enoch how HE created RUACH HA KODESH and HIS WORD which is YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH! Enoch also learned how YAH’S Angels came into existence, the sun, moon and stars operate.

Enoch wrote so many books detailing what YAHUVEH (a.k.a YAHWEH) revealed to him. YAHUVEH told Enoch “THE END FROM THE BEGINNING” and vice versa. After his extensive visit, YAHUVEH gave him about 30 days to return to the earth and brief his family after which YAHUVEH would send HIS HOLY Angels to take Enoch back to the HEAVENS to spend eternity with YAH.

When Enoch was about to be CAUGHT UP IN THE AIR (a.k.a HARVESTED, RAPTURED), YAH gave him an incline. He sensed it in the Spiritual Realm and went to where YAH wanted him to go. Just like Elijah, Enoch did not go alone. Enoch was escorted by some people (members of his family).

Book of the Secrets of EnochChapter 66, LXVI

1 And now, my children, keep your souls from all injustice, such as the Lord hates.

2 Walk before his face with terror and trembling and serve him alone.

3 Bow down to the true God, not to dumb idols, but bow down to his similitude, and bring all just offerings before the Lord’s face. The Lord hates what is unjust.

4 For the Lord sees all things; when man takes thought in his heart, then he counsels the intellects, and every thought is always before the Lord, who made firm the earth and put all creatures on it.

5 If you look to heaven, the Lord is there; if you take thought of the sea’s deep and all the under-earth, the Lord is there.

6 For the Lord created all things. Bow not down to things made by man, leaving the Lord of all creation, because no work can remain hidden before the Lord’s face.

7 Walk, my children, in long-suffering, in meekness, honesty, in provocation, in grief, in faith and in truth, in (reliance on) promises, in illness, in abuse, in wounds, in temptation, in nakedness, in privation, loving one another, till you go out from this age of ills, that you become inheritors of endless time.

8 Blessed are the just who shall escape the great judgment, for they shall shine forth more than the sun sevenfold, for in this world the seventh part is taken off from all, light, darkness, food, enjoyment, sorrow, paradise, torture, fire, frost, and other things; he put all down in writing, that you might read and understand.

Book of The Secrets of EnochChapter 67, LXVII

1 When Enoch had talked to the people, the Lord sent out darkness on to the earth, and there was darkness, and it covered those men standing with Enoch, and they took Enoch up on to the highest heaven, where the Lord (is); and he received him and placed him before his face, and the darkness went off from the earth, and light came again.

2 And the people saw and understood not how Enoch had been taken, and glorified God, and found a roll in which was traced The Invisible (spiritual) God; and all went to their dwelling places.

Book of the Secrets of EnochChapter 68, LXVIII

Enoch was born on the sixth day of the month Tsivan, and lived three hundred and sixty-five years.

2 He was taken up to heaven on the first day of the month Tsivan and remained in heaven sixty days.

3 He wrote all these signs of all creation, which the Lord created, and wrote three hundred and sixty-six books, and handed them over to his sons and remained on earth thirty days, and was again taken up to heaven on the sixth day of the month Tsivan, on the very day and hour when he was born.

4 As every man’s nature in this life is dark, so are also his conception, birth, and departure from this life.

5 At what hour he was conceived, at that hour he was born, and at that hour too he died.

6 Methosalam and his brethren, all the sons of Enoch, made haste, and erected an altar at that place called Achuzan, whence and where Enoch had been taken up to heaven.

7 And they took sacrificial oxen and summoned all people and sacrificed the sacrifice before the Lord’s face.

8 All people, the elders of the people and the whole assembly came to the feast and brought gifts to the sons of Enoch.

9 And they made a great feast, rejoicing and making merry three days, praising God, who had given them such a sign through Enoch, who had found favour with him, and that they should hand it on to their sons from generation to generation, from age to age.

10 Amen.

Elijah’s story is somewhat similar. During Elijah’s time, Paganism and Idolatry was everywhere. Elijah took his STAND FOR YAH by speaking against and working against the Paganism and Idolatry. He constantly had to live in hiding as guided by YAH.

When it was time for Elijah to leave this earth, YAH gave him insight. YAH directed him to go somewhere. He was escorted by someone whose name was Elisha. He later became his predecessor. When the time came for Elijah to be CAUGHT UP IN THE AIR, his “PRAYER TALLIT” (a.k.a MANTLE) fell from his Chariot of Fire onto the ground. This was left for Elisha so as to help him get through the rest of his life on earth. The COAT MANTLE was a SYMBOL OF DOUBLE PORTION ANOINTING OF THE RUACH HA KODESH.

The LESSON to learn from Enoch and Elijah is that WE CAN HAVE A SIMILAR TESTIMONY TO THEIRS!

We too can be rewarded with NOT SEEING DEATH but rather BEING CAUGHT UP IN THE AIR (a.k.a Harvested, Raptured) by YAH Almighty as revealed by YAH in the Holy Biblical Scriptures!!!

We have been asked by YAHUSHUA in Luke 21:36 to pray that WE MAY BE COUNTED WORTHY TO ESCAPE THE TRIBULATIONS TO COME!

YAHUSHUA has the ability to save us from going through the GREAT TRIBULATION (a.k.a TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE) but we have to first and foremost believe in HIM and accept HIM as our ONLY MESSIAH, BE FAITHFUL TO HIM, LOVINGLY OBEDIENT TO HIM as well as daily ask HIM in PRAYER what you desire in accordance with HIS WILL (which can be found in HIS WORD)! It is what you choose to believe and ask HIM for that HE will grant you!

Read Matthew 7.

So if you have made up your mind that you have to go through the GREAT TRIBULATION (a.k.a TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE), then YAHUSHUA will grant you exactly that. If you believe otherwise, then you need to study HIS WORD very well to understand HIS REQUIRED STANDARD so you can work towards meeting it daily in the PLACE OF PRAYER AND STUDYING HIS WORD!!!

Hebrews 11:5 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

By trusting, Hanokh was taken away from this life without seeing death — “He was not to be found, because God took him away” — for he has been attested as having been, prior to being taken away, well pleasing to God.[a]

2 Kings 2 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

The time came for Adonai to take Eliyahu up into heaven in a whirlwind. Eliyahu and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal, when Eliyahu said to Elisha, “Please wait here, because Adonai has sent me all the way to Beit-El.” But Elisha said, “As Adonai lives, and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Beit-El. The guild prophets of Beit-El came out to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that Adonai is taking your master away from you today?” “Yes, I know,” he answered; “say no more.”

Eliyahu said to him, “Elisha, please wait here, because Adonai has sent me to Yericho.” He replied, “As Adonai lives, and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they came to Yericho. The guild prophets of Yericho approached Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that Adonai is taking your master away from you today?” “Yes, I know,” he answered; “say no more.”

Eliyahu said to him, “Please wait here, because Adonai has sent me to the Yarden.” He replied, “As Adonai lives, and as you live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on. Fifty of the guild prophets went and stood watching them from a distance, while they stood by the Yarden. Then Eliyahu took his cloak, rolled it up and struck the water with it; and the water divided itself to the left and to the right; so that they crossed on dry ground. After they had crossed, Eliyahu said to Elisha, “Tell me what I can do for you before I am taken away from you.” Elisha said, “Please! Let a double share of your spirit be on me!” 10 He replied, “You have requested a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, you will get what you asked for; but if not, you won’t.”

11 Suddenly, as they were walking on and talking, there appeared a fiery chariot with horses of fire; and as it separated the two of them from each other, Eliyahu went up into heaven in a whirlwind. 12 Elisha saw it and cried out, “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Isra’el!” Then he lost sight of him. Seizing his clothes, he tore them in half. 13 Then he picked up Eliyahu’s cloak, which had fallen off him. Standing on the bank of the Yarden, 14 he took the cloak that had fallen off Eliyahu, struck the water and said, “Where is Adonai, the God of Eliyahu?” But when he actually did strike the water, it divided itself to the left and to the right; then Elisha crossed over.

15 When the guild prophets of Yericho saw him in the distance, they said, “The spirit of Eliyahu does rest on Elisha.” Advancing to meet him, they prostrated themselves on the ground before him 16 and said to him, “Here now, your servants include fifty strong men. Please let them go and look for your master, in the event that the Spirit of Adonai has taken him up and set him down on some mountain or in some valley.” He answered, “Don’t send them.” 17 But they kept pressing him until finally, embarrassed, he said to send them. So they sent fifty men. For three days they searched, but they didn’t find him. 18 On returning to him where he was waiting in Yericho, he said to them, “I told you not to go, didn’t I?”

19 The men of the city said to Elisha, “My lord can see that this is a pleasant city to live in; but the water is bad, so that the ground is causing miscarriages.” 20 “Bring me a new jug,” he said, “and put salt in it.” They brought it to him. 21 He went out to the source of the water, threw salt into it and said, “This is what Adonai says: ‘I have healed this water; it will no longer cause death or miscarrying.’” 22 The water was healed and has remained healed to this day, in keeping with Elisha’s spoken word.

23 Elisha left to go up to Beit-El. As he was on his way up the road, some boys came out of the town and began making fun of him. “Go on up, baldy! Go on up, baldy!” 24 He looked behind him, saw them and put a curse on them in the name of Adonai; whereupon two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.

25 He went on from there to Mount Karmel and then returned to Shomron.

Jude 1:14-15

[14] Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, [15] to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”
