Is there any relationship between The TEN COMMANDMENTS and The STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED?

Note that the TEN COMMANDMENTS were kept in the ARK OF THE COVENANT inside the HOLY OF HOLIES both in the MISHKAN/TABERNACLE of Moshe/Moses and in the BEIS HA MIKDASH/TEMPLE.

Only the High Priest had access to the HOLY OF HOLIES once a year which was on YOM KIPPUR/DAY OF ATONEMENT!

YAHUSHUA, our GREAT HIGH PRIEST has now made a way for us to access the HOLY OF HOLIES together with HIM not just once a year but throughout the year. Praise YAH!

When Ron Wyatt (Christian/Messianic Jewish Archaeologist) was close to finding the ARK OF THE COVENANT, the gentleman who was helping him (a native Israelite) felt something strange to him and fled as he was scared. That was a sign to Ron that he was very close to the end of his assignment to find the exact location of the ARK OF THE COVENANT. The Presence of the LORD YAHUVEH was so strong that if anyone did not love YAH and/or was living HOLY FOR YAH, they would be extremely uncomfortable or uneasy.

Why would YAH ask Moshe/Moses to keep HIS COMMANDMENTS in the most sacred place of all?

Note that throughout the Old Covenant/Testament, the ARK OF THE COVENANT was only carried by YAH’S Priests (a.k.a Levites). If anybody attempted to carry it and was not designated to do so, they died. Even King David could not touch it.

The TEN COMMANDMENTS are of Great Importance to YAH as they are YAH HIMSELF!!!

The WORD Made STONE!

Note that when Moses met with YAH on Mount Sinai for 40 days and 40 nights, Moses descended the mountain the first time, then ascended the Mountain to receive the TEN COMMANDMENTS again, and later descended once again. This can be related to someone we know and that is YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH, The WORD OF YAH/ELOHIM (a.k.a GOD) who descended in human form to free mankind from the power of sin plus reconcile man with YAH. YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH ascended 40 days after HIS resurrection as witnessed by HIS Disciples who later became HIS Apostles.

Christians/Messianic Jews having been waiting for YAHUSHUA’S special return to this earth as the Judge of all nations for a very long time. YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH will return 3 times as revealed through YAH’S Amightywind Ministry! HE will harvest/rapture HIS faithful Bride and Guests who have made themselves ready as and when HE returns. The ones who live through the Great Tribulation will actually bear some hardships. Some will have to live in hiding and rely on YAH’S Special Provision from the Heavens by RUACH HA KODESH. It will come in the form of MANNA just like in the days of old. This has been revealed by RUACH HA KODESH in YAH’S Amightywind Ministry Prophecy 90. Others will end up being sold to the highest bidder (by people like unbelieving or un-understanding spouses, Judas spiritual leaders, evil family members, etc) and thereby being tortured and/or murdered brutally. Those who become martrys will be greatly rewarded by YAH at the end of the Great Tribulation as revealed in the Book of Revelation.

As the DIVINE WORD OF YAH/ELOHIM descended from the HEAVENLY GLORY of the YAH The FATHER YAHUVEH to take on flesh and dwell among men, HE came with a purpose: to SAVE Israel and to bring SALVATION to the world. Just like Moses at Mount Sinai, the MASHIACH/MESSIAH descended on a rescue mission to call Israel to repentance and to avert the disaster of judgment. Moshe/Moses descended to renew the COVENANT between YAH/ELOHIM and HIS people.

Moses interceded in prayer and fasting on behalf of the people. He provoked them to repent. Moses said to the people, “Perhaps I can make atonement for your sin” (Exodus 32:30).

YAH told Moshe/Moses to carve out new stone tablets and return to HIM on the mountain. If the tablets that Moses broke allude to the body of Yeshua which died for the sins of Israel, then we might say that the new tablets represent His resurrected body—the token of the new covenant. Moses brought the new tablets back up the mountain. Likewise, YAHUSHUA rose from the dead in a renewed body and returned to the YAH THE FATHER. Just as the new tablets went back up the mountain, so too, MASHIACH/MESSIAH ascended back to the HEAVENS, back to the YAH THE FATHER.

Moshe/Moses went back down the mountain with the new tablets. Likewise, when the MASHIACH/MESSIAH returns, HE “will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring SALVATION to those who are waiting for him” (Hebrews 9:28). Moses’ face radiated the brilliant GLORY of the LORD YAHUVEH. So too, when MASHIACH returns, HE will come like Moses, in HIS FATHER’S GLORY, in power and splendor, as HE has promised, saying, “For the Son of YAH (not man) is going to come in the GLORY of HIS FATHER with HIS angels” (Matthew 16:27). HE comes white as snow, blazing like the sun, fairest of fair, purest of pure, GLORY unveiled, GLORY revealed. This is what King David said prophetically,

Interestingly enough, The TEN COMMANDMENTS were inscribed on STONE. YAH used HIS finger to write them. HE inscribed them with HIS Holy FIRE.

STONE is mentioned by YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH (a.k.a JESUS CHRIST/YESHUA) as the opposite of BREAD as follows:

⁹ “If your child asks you for bread, would any of you give him a stone? ¹⁰ Or if your child asks for a fish, would you give him a snake? ¹¹ Even though you’re evil, you know how to give good gifts to your children. So how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him?

When I hear the word STONE in relation to the Holy Biblical Scriptures,the following come to mind:

• The STONE which Ya’akov (a.k.a Jacob, in English) used as a pillow to lay his head upon one night on his way to Haran where Laban was residing.

• The STONE on which The TEN COMMANDMENTS were inscribed.

Exodus 34:1-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

Moses Makes New Tablets

I carried the two tablets up the mountain. ⁴ Yahweh wrote on these tablets the same words as before, the ten commandments. He had spoken these words to you from the fire on the mountain on the day of the assembly. Then Yahweh gave them to me. ⁵ I came back down the mountain and put the tablets in the ark I had made. They are still there, where Yahweh commanded me to put them.
⁶ The Israelites moved from the wells of the Jaakanites to Moserah. • The ROCK which YAH commanded Moshe/Moses to hit once so as to release water for the Children of Israel to drink.

Water from the Rock

17 Then all the congregation of the children of Israel set out on their journey from the Wilderness of Sin, according to the commandment of the Lord, and camped in Rephidim; but there was no water for the people to drink. ² Therefore the people contended with Moses, and said, “Give us water, that we may drink.”

So Moses said to them, “Why do you contend with me? Why do you tempt the Lord?”
³ And the people thirsted there for water, and the people complained against Moses, and said, “Why is it you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?”
⁴ So Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, “What shall I do with this people? They are almost ready to stone me!”
⁵ And the Lord said to Moses, “Go on before the people, and take with you some of the elders of Israel. Also take in your hand your rod with which you struck the river, and go. ⁶ Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.”
And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. ⁷ So he called the name of the place Massah^[a] and Meribah,^[b] because of the contention of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the Lord, saying, “Is the Lord among us or not?”

• The 12 MEMORIAL STONES which YAH asked the Children of Israel through Yahushua the son of Nun (a.k.a Joshua) after crossing the Yarden (a.k.a River Jordan).

A Reminder of the Crossing/Twelve Memorial Stones from the Jordan

4 The whole nation finished crossing the Jordan River. Yahweh had told Joshua, tion finished crossing the Jordan River. Yahweh had told Joshua, ² “Choose one man from each of the 12 tribes. ³ Order them to pick up 12 stones from the middle of the Jordan, where the priests’ feet stood firmly. Take the stones along with you, and set them down where you will camp tonight.”

⁴ Joshua called the 12 men whom he had selected (one from each tribe). ⁵ He said to them, “Go to the middle of the Jordan River in front of the ark of Yahweh your Elohim. Each man must take a stone on his shoulder, one for each tribe of Israel. ⁶ This will be a sign for you. In the future your children will ask, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’ ⁷ You should answer, ‘The water of the Jordan River was cut off in front of the ark of Yahweh’s promise. When the ark crossed the Jordan, the river stopped flowing. These stones are a permanent reminder for the people of Israel.’”
⁸ The people of Israel did as Joshua had ordered. They took 12 stones, one for each of the tribes of Israel. They took them from the middle of the Jordan as Yahweh had told Joshua. They carried them to the camp and set them down there.
⁹ Joshua also set 12 stones in the middle of the Jordan River, where the priests who carried the ark of the promise had stood. The stones are still there today.
¹⁰ The priests who carried the ark remained standing in the middle of the Jordan. They stood there until everything Yahweh had ordered Joshua to tell the people had been carried out. This was as Moses had told Joshua. The people hurried to the other side. ¹¹ As soon as everyone had crossed, the priests with Yahweh’s ark crossed and went ahead of them.
¹² The men of Reuben, Gad, and half of the tribe of Manasseh did as Moses had told them. They marched across in battle formation ahead of the people of Israel. ¹³ About 40,000 armed men crossed the river in front of Yahweh to the plains of Jericho for battle.
¹⁴ On that day Yahweh honored Joshua in the presence of all the Israelites. As long as Joshua lived, the Israelites respected him in the same way they had respected Moses.
¹⁵ Yahweh said to Joshua, ¹⁶ “Order the priests who carry the ark of the testimony to come out of the Jordan River.”
¹⁷ So Joshua ordered the priests, “Come out of the Jordan.”
¹⁸ The priests who carried the ark of Yahweh’s promise came out of the middle of the Jordan. When their feet stepped onto dry land, the water of the Jordan returned to its seasonal flood level.
¹⁹ On the tenth day of the first month, the people came out of the Jordan River. They made their camp at Gilgal, just east of Jericho. ²⁰ At Gilgal Joshua set up the 12 stones they had taken from the Jordan. ²¹ He said to the people of Israel, “In the future when children ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’ ²² the children should be told that Israel crossed the Jordan River on dry ground. ²³ Yahweh your Elohim dried up the Jordan ahead of you until you had crossed, as he did to the Red Sea until we had crossed. ²⁴ Yahweh did this so that everyone in the world would know his mighty power and that you would fear Yahwehyour Elohim every day of your life.”

The Philistines Defeated

⁷ When the Philistines heard that the Israelites had gathered at Mizpah, the Philistine rulers came to attack Israel. The Israelites heard about the Philistine plan and were afraid of them. ⁸ The Israelites said to Samuel, “Don’t turn a deaf ear to us! Don’t stop crying to Yahweh our Elohimfor us! Ask him to save us from the Philistines!”

⁹ Then Samuel took a lamb, one still feeding on milk, and sacrificed it as a burnt offering to Yahweh. Samuel cried to Yahweh on behalf of Israel, and Yahweh answered him. ¹⁰ While Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines came to fight against Israel. On that day Yahweh thundered loudly at the Philistines and threw them into such confusion that they were defeated by Israel. ¹¹ Israel’s soldiers left Mizpah, pursued the Philistines, and killed them as far as Beth Car.
¹² Then Samuel took a rock and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer [Rock of Help] and said, “Until now Yahweh has helped us.”
¹³ The power of the Philistines was crushed, so they didn’t come into Israel’s territory again. Yahweh restrained the Philistines as long as Samuel lived. ¹⁴ The cities between Ekron and Gath which the Philistines took from Israel were returned to Israel. And Israel recovered the territory controlled by these cities from the Philistines. There was also peace between Israel and the Amorites.
¹⁵ Samuel judged Israel as long as he lived. ¹⁶ Every year he went around to Bethel, Gilgal, and Mizpah in order to judge Israel in all those places. ¹⁷ Then he would return home to Ramah. There, too, he judged Israel. And in Ramah he built an altar to Yahweh.

• The STONES used to build The Holy Temples of YAH – In the days of old, stones were used to build houses.

It belonged to the priests.

• Disobedient hearts

The Chosen Stone and His Chosen People

⁴ Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, ⁵ you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶ Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,

“Behold, I lay in Zion
A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”^[a]

“The stone which the builders rejected

They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; ¹⁰ who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

From the above, we can see that the word STONE can have both POSITIVE and NEGATIVE implications as per YAH’S (a.k.a ELOHIM’S) WORD. In this case, we will look at the POSITIVE implications.

As we all know, YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH is the WORD of YAH (John 1:1). YAHUSHUA also referred to HIMSELF as a STONE, that is to say, the STONE which was rejected by the builders later became the CHIEF CORNERSTONE. Let us unpack this statement based on YAH’S WORD:

• THE STONE – YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH (was once an ordinary stone)

• THE BUILDERS – The Children of Israel (mostly referred to today as Jews)

• THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE – YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH (after his crucifixion)

In the days of old, buildings were put together using stones. A lot of people were required to do this. Some would quarry the stones while others would transport them. Some others put the stones together in order to form the building. When King David wrote the Psalm 118, he was speaking prophetically using a real life scenario.
When this is related to THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, I think of the fact that in this day and age THE TEN COMMANDMENTS have been forsaken so much to the point that some people are losing their jobs as a result of upholding them firmly no matter what happens to them.

Sadly, the Children of Israel also forsook YAH’S Commandments as time went on and as a result, YAH scattered them all over the earth. They especially broke the first and second commandments which had to do with not worshipping any other gods. The Children of Israel found themselves disobeying Deuteronomy 12 by worshipping YAH like the Canaanites around them were. YAH constantly rebuked them concerning this through HIS Holy Prophecies.

Note that YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH emphasises the importance of the TEN COMMANDMENTS by summarising them into two. HE also says HE did not come to get rid of them and their importance!!!

Matthew 22:36-40 Names of God Bible (NOG)

³⁶ “Teacher, which commandment is the greatest in Moses’ Teachings?”

³⁷ Yeshua answered him, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ ³⁸ This is the greatest and most important commandment. ³⁹ The second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ ⁴⁰ All of Moses’ Teachings and the Prophets depend on these two commandments.”

In this day and age, we have been introduced to idolatry particularly through the Roman Catholic Church (the main beast of Revelation 13). Many Christians are mixing idolatry with YAH in their worship lifestyle of YAH unknowingly, for example:

• Praying to images
• Asking for forgiveness of sins from human beings such as Priests with the belief that this opens the door for spending eternity with YAH
• Giving offerings as a form of buying your way or one’s way into eternity in heaven
• Observation of Sunday worship with the belief that it is actually YAH’S true SHABBAT
• Christmas observation
• Easter observation
• Observation of Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, Lent, Moundy/Maundy Thursday
• Valentine’s Day, etc

YAH refers to it as Babylon. YAH is calling us out of it so as not to suffer with the Babylon when her judgement comes upon her.

The Israelites made the Golden Calf and started making evil sacrifices to it as the heathen did then and still do. This was an abomination as YAH had told them to spend some days prior to this event washing their clothes plus cleaning their living environments in preparation for meeting YAH to receive The TORAH. They broke the very first and second Commandments given to them. They practised idolatry which is an abomination unto YAH!

In the First Book of Adam and Eve, we see YAHUVEH (a.k.a YAHWEH) ELOHIM send HIS WORD to Adam and Eve several times to comfort them. It also says that after sometime, YAH withdrew HIS WORD from Adam and Eve. What exactly was this WORD? Well, the answer is simple when the Holy Biblical Scriptures are read from the Messianic point of view. The answer is in the Book of Yahuchanan/John Chapter 1. It is:

YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH!

So if YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH is revealed as the WORD of YAH amongst other things, that means that YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH is THE TEN COMMANDMENTS which YAH wrote with HIS finger. At the same time, YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH is the STONE on which THE WORD was written by YAHUVEH ELOHIM’S finger.

• YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH is THE TORAH (a.k.a LAW OF YAH)!!!

• THE TEN COMMANDMENTS are also TORAH!

• YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH is the BREAD OF LIFE!!!

YAHUSHUA is the TORAH, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED and THE BREAD OF LIFE!!! These are all one and the same thing much as they are different things.

Note that in ancient times, the staple food offered was BREAD and WATER. Even Moses when in Prison for 10 years in Midian, he was secretly fed by Zipporah, his then wife to be with bread and water.

When YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH was feeding the 4,000 and the 5,000 HE fed them with BREAD and FISH! 12 baskets of bread were left over, interestingly enough. Why bread and not anything else?

Also note that when YAHUSHUA spoke as per Matthew 7, HE compared BREAD with STONE! Stones are usually sin as not having life in them or lifeless. They are spoken of in Jeremiah and Ezekiel as symbols of disobedience (a.k.a stony hearts).

If you trample upon THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and disregard them, then you are trampling over YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH (the SON of YAH/ELOHIM Almighty)!!!

If think and say that YAHUSHUA has done away with THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and/or nailed them to the cross and yet claim to love plus follow YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH, then you are most certainly lying to yourself!!!

THE STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED BY THE BUILDERS is also THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and THE STONE ON WHICH THE TEN COMMANDMENTS WERE INSCRIBED!!!

The FIRE from the finger of YAHUVEH ELOHIM is a symbol of RUACH HA KODESH whose personal name is SHKINYINYAH GLORY (a.k.a HOLY SPIRIT)!!!

Apostle Shaul/Paul actually touched on this in the New Covenant/Testament when HE advised that as Messianic Communities, we should not take out disputes or matters to worldly courts to be decided because they lack understanding of YAH’S WORD!
