SHABBAT SHALOM [A PEACEFUL SABBATH] Brethren in YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH [a.k.a JESUS CHRIST; Not Yeshua; Not YeshaYAHU !!!]!

*Today, Saturday 4th December 2021 / 30 Kislev is SHABBAT MIKETZ/AT THE END and the last day of this HEBREW MONTH/SEASON called KISLEV.* At the end of 2 more years in prison, Joseph’s time to be freed came about. This was 2 years after The Chief Baker had been killed and The Cup Bearer had been restored to his role [Genesis 40]. Interestingly, YAH SHADDAI arranged it all in such a way that YAHUsef [Joseph] would be the designated age by THE CREATOR, YAH SHADDAI for the commencement of Priesthood and Leadership generally. Remember that even King David became King at age 30 though he was anointed at age 28. YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH commenced HIS 3 year MINISTRY on earth 🌎 at age 30 also. YAH SHADDAI sees age 30 as the age where people are mature enough to handle leadership. See Numbers 4:23, 30, 39, 43, 47.

Interestingly, today’s TORAH PORTION ends with an emphasis on BENJAMIN [BINYAMINI] and his freedom from Joseph’s hold in Mitzrayim/Egypt [Genesis 44].

And THE HEBREW MONTH/SEASON OF KISLEV IS THE MONTH OF THE ISRAELITE TRIBE OF BENJAMIN!

The BLESSING OVER BENJAMIN throws more light on THEME OF THIS HEBREW MONTH/SEASON:

Judah Defends Benjamin


18 Then Judah went up to Joseph and said, “Please, sir, let me speak openly with you. Don’t be angry with me, although you are equal to Pharaoh. 19 Sir, you asked us, ‘Do you have a father or a brother?’ 20 We answered, ‘We have a father who is old and a younger brother born to him when he was already old. The boy’s brother is dead, so he’s the only one of his mother’s sons left, and his father loves him.’

*It is interesting to see that the Sons of Rachel are the ones whose TRIBES ARE THE MAIN THEMES OF THE FIRST THREE HEBREW MONTHS/SEASONS OF THE HEBREW CIVIL YEAR [Tishrei to Elul].* EPHRAIM [Joseph’s younger but greater] is to TISHREI a.k.a TISHRI; MANASSEH [Joseph’s older and second great] is to CHESHVAN and BENJAMIN is to KISLEV! Manasseh had similar strengths to that of Judah. This is seen in THE BOOK OF JASHER [YASHAR] a.k.a THE UPRIGHT MAN] Chapter 54.

It makes sense for BENJAMIN to be THE MAIN THEME FOR THE HEBREW MONTH/SEASON OF KISLEV! *BENJAMIN IS A RAVENOUS WOLF 🐺 who devours in the day time and divides the spoil in the night time and THE MONTH/SEASON OF KISLEV and into TEVET is all about WAR – serious warfare against the kingdom of darkness [THE MACCABEES and OTHER ISRAELITES had to rise up to fight against the Greek-Syrians who had invaded THE HOLY LAND, ISRA’EL]!*

Interestingly, the MAIN HOLY BIBLICAL SCRIPTURE for this HEBREW MONTH/SEASON is Genesis 9:13-17 which is about COVENANT!

THE THEME OF COVENANTS is usually seen in THE HEBREW MONTH/SEASON called SIVAN – TRIBE OF ZEBULUN! It was also seen in CHESHVAN – TRIBE OF MANASSEH! Part of RE-DEDICATION UNTO YAH SHADDAI involves renewing HIS COVENANT with us, HalleluYAH! And Remember that while Transitioning into this month of KISLEV, there was a MINOR FESTIVAL/APPOINTED TIME at the end of CHESHVAN called SIGD a.k.a SIG’D which is all about RE-DEDICATION UNTO YAH SHADDAI 50 days after YOM KIPPUR/ DAY OF ATONEMENT as per The Books of Ezra – Nehemiah! In CHESHVAN, an evil covenant a.k.a pact is made between ha satan and 200 Watcher Angels on Mount Hermon to pollute or defile mankind. It was also in CHESHVAN that ha satan successfully tempted Chavvah [Eve] thus causing her to break COVENANT WITH YAH SHADDAI!

This HEBREW MONTH/SEASON, KISLEV also *bears THE THEME OF RE-DEDICATION UNTO THE CREATOR, YAH SHADDAI! This follows on nicely with THE THEME OF THE PREVIOUS HEBREW MONTH/SEASON, CHESHVAN – Genesis 3.*

During KISLEV, THE SECOND TEMPLE having been desecrated by the Greek-Syrians was cleansed and restored and then re-dedicated to YAH! In the process, YAH did a Miracle – THE MIRACLE OF OIL! Remember the following which highlight the importance of OIL IN SPIRITUAL TERMS:

SO, OIL AND LIGHT ARE SO VERY IMPORTANT TO YAH SHADDAI! Without OIL and LIGHT, we can not know where we are going in life – See Psalm 119:105, 130; John 8:12; Matthew 5:13-17; etc!

13 Howbeit when SHE, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, is come, SHE will guide you into ALL TRUTH: for SHE shall not speak of HERSELF; but whatsoever SHE shall hear, that shall SHE speak: and SHE will shew you things to come.

*In Ancient Hebrew Culture, it always took 7 Days to produce OIL [OLIVE OIL]! When it was time to light THE MENORAH  [7 BRANCH GOLDEN LAMPSTAND], THE ISRAELITES only had OIL enough to last 1 day! Then a Miracle occurred: THE MENORAH 🕎 LIGHTS continued burning bright for 7 more days* and thus it was concluded that A FESTIVAL HOLY UNTO YAH SHADDAI MUST BE INSTITUTED TO BE OBSERVED YEARLY AROUND THIS TIME OF YEAR [November – December time though it could sometimes spill over into January] for 8 Days in honour of THE MIRACLE THAT YAH SHADDAI did with regards to OIL [SHEMEN], LIGHT [OHR] and THE MENORAH 🕎 and so it was since then and to-date, HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH!

*This Festival and Month/Season therefore also remind us to work hard on our SPIRITUAL OIL LEVELS and SPIRITUAL LIGHT LEVELS!* Matthew 25:4

In terms of land Portions, it is also interesting to see that THE LAND OF JUDAH is close to THE LAND OF BENJAMIN! While in the desert, Judah was positioned on the East of the TABERNACLE OF MOSHE [MOSES] while BENJAMIN was positioned on the West of THE TABERNACLE OF MOSHE! They were both HEAD or LEADER TRIBES!

*BENJAMIN is one of the PIOUS PRINCES WHO WILL RULE AND REIGN WITH YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH on earth 🌎 during THE COMING MILLENNIAL SABBATH REIGN OF YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH!* This is because he led an extremely HOLY LIFE and thus very pleasing to YAH! He was one of the Princes whom YAH would have loved to allow to live forever more however due to the curse pronounced in Genesis 3; he could not.

*Since Judah put himself up as security for Benjamin when Joseph insisted on keeping Benjamin, Judah spoke into THE FUTURE OF THE TRIBES!* Since then, JUDAH ALWAYS HAD AND STILL HAS A RESPONSIBILITY TO DEFEND AND PROTECT BENJAMIN *thus King David defended King Shaul against Goliath.* King Shaul could not face Goliath because he had succeeded in taking the TEN COMMANDMENTS STONE TABLES from Goliath and so Goliath was extremely wroth with King Shaul. *King Saul though a SPIRITUAL RAVENOUS WOLF as per Jacob’s BLESSING OVER BENJAMIN was not empowered enough or anointed enough for the role of killing Goliath so THE TRIBE OF JUDAH [LION], the one who roars like a lion and miracles occur in accordance with YAH’S WILL, had to step in through King David.* Before David even began fighting fighting against Goliath, his look at Goliath cause Goliath blindness and LEPROSY thus causing Goliath to fall to the ground. He managed to get up however he could not fight. This is how David managed to successfully hit Goliath with the 5 stones turned into 1 STONE [STONE OF OFFENSE TO Goliath and ROCK OF REFUGE AND SALVATION plus CHIEF CORNERSTONE To David]. David also cut off Goliath’s head and showed it to King Shaul [Saul].

*Interestingly, during the exile of 490 (70 × 7) years (Babylon followed by Persia and Medes) BENJAMIN through Queen Esther  [Hadassah] and Mordecai defended JUDAH in the Persian and Medes Empire as per THE BOOK OF ESTHER!* The celebrations in honour of the victory granted the Children of Israel is celebrated during the preceding MONTH/SEASON called ADAR – TRIBE OF NAPHTALI [deer/doe – Psalm 42; Genesis 49; Deuteronomy 33; etc].

*So, KISLEV is a very Special Month.*
