The King of Glory

Psalm 24

¹ A psalm of David.
The earth is Adonai’s and all that fills it—^[a]
the world, and those dwelling on it.
² For He founded it upon the seas,
and established it upon the rivers.
³ Who may go up on the mountain of Adonai?
Who may stand in His holy place?
⁴ One with clean hands and a pure heart,
who has not lifted his soul in vain,
nor sworn deceitfully.
⁵ He will receive a blessing from Adonai,
righteousness from God his salvation.
⁶ Such is the generation seeking Him,
seeking Your face, even Jacob! Selah
⁷ Lift up your heads, O gates,
and be lifted up, you everlasting doors:
that the King of glory may come in.

On ROSH HA SHANAH, we crown YAHUVEH King of the world for as per the Ha Sefer Bereshit/Book of Genesis, it was on Rosh Ha Shanah that YAHUVEH completed the creation of the world and everything was perfect in HIS sight.

The entire world, that is to say, Ha’/aretz/ the earth and the Ha Shammayim/the Heavens, was and still is YAHUVEH GOD’S Kingdom.

Mankind was the crown of YAH’S creation and mankind was the last thing YAH created before the seventh day. The original plan which still stands as per the First Book of Adam and Eve as well as the Book of the Secrets of Enoch reveal that mankind has been empowered to rule together with YAH but not replace YAH! Remember that YAH does not and can not share HIS Glory with mankind!

⁸ I am Yahweh; that is my name.
    I will not give my glory to anyone else
        or the praise I deserve to idols.

 

Jewish literature called Mishnah states that Adam and Chavah/Eve were formed on Rosh Ha Shanah, that is to say, Tishri 1. The question is how was this determined by the sages? Well, they transposed the Hebrew Letters of the very first word of the Hebrew Scriptures.

 

In other words,  by rearranging the letters of the word “Bereshit (in the beginning),” the phrase, aleph b’Tishri (on the first day of Tishri) was formed and therefore this date became associated with the anniversary of Creation (or rather the Creation from Adam’s perspective, that is, the sixth day).

ROSH HA SHANAH therefore represents the day that YAHUVEH began to rule as KING of the universe. When Adam first opened his eyes and human consciousness was born, he immediately understood that YAHUVEH created all things, including himself! According to Jewish literature called Midrash, Adam’s first words were, “YAHUVEH is KING forever and ever! YAHUVEH said, “Now the world will know that I am KING,” and HE was very pleased.

 

The birthday of humanity is therefore the CORONATION DAY of the KING of the Universe!

 

The sounding of the Shofar is meant to awaken our consciouness that YAHUVEH is the KING of the universe!

Psalm 89:15 Names of God Bible (NOG)

 

YAHUVEH is indeed KING of all the earth, our Creator and Redeemer! HE is “MELECH Gadol al-kol ha’aretz,” a “great KING over all the earth.”

We are to observe and acknowledge YAHUVEH’S Righteous Rule and Kingship at all times, ROSH HA SHANAH is a “SANCTIFIED REMINDER” of YAH’S Creative Authority in our lives!

YAHUSHUA is called the MASHIACH, a term that denotes HIS Kingly Dignity and Royalty! HE is also the Creator and Sustainer of creation!

¹⁵ HE (YAHUSHUA) is the visible image of the invisible GOD. He is supreme over all creation, ¹⁶ because in connection with him were created all things — in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, lordships, rulers or authorities — they have all been created through him and for him.

 

YAHUSHUA is coming to rule and reign from YAHrushalayim/Jerusalem (Zion) in the near future!
Those who profess to be Christians, that is to say followers of YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH (a.k.a JESUS CHRIST, YESHUA) will be judged according to their deeds of service.

¹⁰ for we must all appear before the Messiah’s court of judgment, where everyone will receive the good or bad consequences of what he did while he was in the body.

 

The world system and Satan will also be judged both through the Great Tribulation as well as afterwards.

Just as the Heavenly Shofar was sounded at Sinai, so will it be sounded one again in the future from Zion.

As the only True KING and Judge, YAH has indeed a Sefer HaChayim/Book of Life as well as a Sefer-Ha-Metim/Book of Death. The Holy Scriptures clearly warn that on the Day of Judgement to come, anyone’s name not found written in the LAMB’S Book of Life will be thrown into the Lake of Fire.

These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. ^[a] 21 The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the One riding on the horse. And all the birds gorged themselves with their flesh.

 

 

The month of Elul and the preparation for Rosh hashanah reminds to be ready for the soon appearance of KING YAHUSHUA our LORD. Though we do not know the exact day or hour of HIS return to possess HIS Kingdom on earth, we are commanded to watch and be ready for HIS soon appearance. We ought therefore to be in a state of constant TESHUVAH/Repentance as we seek to humble ourselves an  walk with our YAH!

The Brit Chadashah/New Covenant/Testament connects TESHUVAH with SALVATION itself! YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S first message was as follows:

that we are proclaiming:

        that Yeshua is Lord,

TESHUVAH implies a response to the person of YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH that is demonstrated through confession that HE is none other than YAHUVEH’S only begotten son, the LORD of compassion and grace. The sound of the shofar is meant to awaken our hearts and to prepare for the coming judgement.
