“KORACH/Korah” Shavua (Sunday 30th June to Saturday 6th July 2019)…

via “KORACH/Korah”

SHALOM!

A new week commenced on sun-down Saturday 29th June 2019. We usually end Shabbat with the Havdalah/Separation Ritual. It’s  a good one to do as it remins us of what’s important in life! More on this to be added on the website. These rituals were created with the main aim of teaching children about YAH’S calendar. Children need visuals to understand and to be able to remember.

The TORAH Parasha/Portion for this week is called: ‘KORACH’ (In English: ‘Korah’). Click on the above link for the TORAH Parasha details…

Also, Related teachings can be found by clicking on the above link…

It’s interesting to learn that not so long after the Ten heads of the tribes of Israel rebelled against YAHUVEH Almighty and caused the rest of Israel to also rebel against YAHUVEH, a man called Korah from the Tribe of Levi also rebelled against YAHUVEH (YAHWEH)! This was a stupid step to take. This time YAHUVEH used fire to communicate his feelings towards their behaviour – another fierce decision.

A major lesson is to be learned from this Parasha particularly for those who bear Assistant positions in Ministry (congregations).

Jealousy is dangerous to allow into one’s heart. We’re human beings and we each have a desire to stand out as well as be leaders of some kind however, we ought not to take caution.

We each have our own callings from ABBA YAHUVEH in life!

It is one thing to be called and another to be appointed, chosen!

May we examine our hearts during the course of this week and ask ABBA YAHUVEH to help us by purifying them away well as our souls and spirits. Ask YAH to deliver you from: jealousy, envy, deliciousness, slander, anger, bitterness, hatred/forgiveness, etc.

Jeremiah 17:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV)

“The heart is deceitful above allthings,
And [a]desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
10 I, the LORD YAHUVEH, search the heart,
I test the [b]mind,
Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings.

Proverbs 16 King James Version (KJV)

16 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD YAHUVEH.

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD  YAHUVEH weigheth the spirits.

Commit thy works unto the LORD YAHUVEH, and thy thoughts shall be established.

The LORD YAHUVEH hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD YAHUVEH: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD YAHUVEH men depart from evil.

Ephesians 4:31-32 New King James Version (NKJV)

31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, [a]clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as ELOHIM (GOD) in Mashiach (CHRIST) forgave you.

Mark 7:21-23 New King James Version (NKJV)

21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,22 thefts,covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

Galatians 5:19-21New King James Version (NKJV)

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: [a]adultery, [b]fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, [c]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of ELOHIM (GOD).

Galatians 5:24 New King James Version (NKJV)

24 And those who are Mashiach’s (Christ’s) have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Let the following be your Prayer throughout the week:

Song:

Purify My Heart

Let Me Be As Gold

And Precious Silver

Purify My Heart

Let Me Be As Gold

Pure Gold

Refiner’s Fire

My Heart’s One Desire

Is To Be Holy

Set Apart For You YAH

I Choose To Be Holy

Set Apart For YOU My Master

Ready To Do YOUR Will

Song:

Create In Me A Clean Heart Oh YAH

And Renew A Right Spirit Within Me

(Dear YAH) Create In Me A Clean Heart Oh YAH

And Renew A Right Spirit Within Me

Oh-oh Cast Me Not Away From Your Presence Oh YAH

Take Not YOUR RUACH HA KODESH From Me

Restore Unto Me

The Joy of YAH’S Salvation

And Renew A Right Spirit Within Me

Song:

Brokenness
Brokeness
Is what I long for
Brokeness
Is what I need
(Gotta be broken)
Brokeness
Brokenness
That’s what you want
For me
Take my heart
And mold it
(Take, my mind)
Take my mind
Transform it
(Take my will)
Take my will
Conform it
(Conform my will)
To yours
To yours
Oh, YAH

Still, on leadership, we see Aharon’s/Aaron’s staff or rod bud in this TORAH Parasha:

A message was passed through this event.

Numbers 17:8-10 New King James Version (NKJV)

Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds. Then Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD YAHUVEH to all the children of Israel; and they looked, and each man took his rod.

10 And the LORD  YAHUVEH said to Moses, “Bring Aaron’s rod back before the Testimony, to be kept as a sign against the rebels, that you may put their complaints away from ME, lest they die.”

This chapter 17 reminds of Joseph, YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S earthly father. The following page link gives more information:
