Remember always to keep YAH’S weekly SABBATH HOLY for YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’ (JESUS CHRIST; not Yeshua!) will return for HIS HOLY BELOVED BRIDE (Matthew 25:1-13; Revelation 14; Revelation 7) on HIS SABBATH!

The TEACHING IN BRIEF:
Here we see Yahushua (a.k.a Joshua) the son of Nun introduced to us as a Great man of Faith in YAH SHADDAI!
12 Spies are sent out by Moshe Ha Navi (Prophet Moses) to the Promised Land to check it out and report back as well as being back some of the good fruit of the land.
Note 📝🗒📓🎵 that out of the 12 Spies, 10 disappoint YAH SHADDAI and HIS Prophet Moshe! These end up attracting YAH’E Judgement! The Children of Israel end up spending 40 years (instead of 11 days then 40 days at first) altogether in the wilderness before entering the Promised Land! This Promised Land had been given to Shem then Abraham, Isaac and Israel (Jacob) however they left it for a very long time as a result of the 7 year famine! Obviously, other people saw it uninhabited and took over the land. So, when it was time for the Children of Israel to occupy the land, they had to fight for it! However, those who took over were much larger than them so a lot of FAITH was required to overcome!
Matthew 11:12 King James Version
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
10 of the Spies rebelled against YAH SHADDAI by spreading a fearful report amongst the Children of Israel while 2 of the Spies (Yahushua the son of Nun and Calev the son of Yephunah) spread FAITH IN YAH TO OVERCOME!
Numbers 14:10-12
Interestingly, some years later, Yahushua the son of Nun repeated what Prophet Moshe did but in a different way. After Crossing The River Jordan which was after the death of Prophet Moshe, (having learned 😳 that The Testimonies of 12 contradict themselves and can create a further extension of time of taking dominion over the Promised Land 😳), Yahushua only sends 2 Spies this time round! This is seen in this week’s HAFTARAH (a.k.a HAFTORAH) Portion: Joshua 2:1-24.
In their case, the two Spies end up requiring protection! HalleluYAH for YAH raises up someone to do so by putting it in her heart ❤ . It’s Rahav (a.k.a Rahab)!
Sadly, she was known as a prostitute! However, YAH transformed her life. YAH adopted her into HIS Family, (Physical and Spiritual) Israel just like Ruth was adopted through Naomi (Book of Ruth)! Both Rahav and Ruth ended up featuring into YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S (JESUS CHRIST; not Yeshua!) earthly lineage! HalleluYAH 🎶 HalleluYAH 🎶 HalleluYAH!
We therefore see this Month’s THEMES OF 👉GIVING, 👉BEING MERCIFUL, 👉RECEIVING TERRITORIES and 👉ALIGNMENT throughout this TORAH PORTION! Wow 👏 Wow 👏 Wow 👏! HalleluYAH 🕺💃 HalleluYAH 🎶
The 10 Spies who disappointed ABBA YAHUVEH (YAHWEH) and HIS Prophet Moshe Prophetically spoke into the future of their tribes! Later in BIBLICAL HISTORY, The Kingdom of ISRAEL ended up getting split into 2 Kingdoms!
On the succession of Solomon’s son, Rehoboam, around 930 BCE, the biblical account reports that the country split into two kingdoms: the Kingdom of Israel (including the cities of Shechem and Samaria) in the north and the Kingdom of Judah (containing Jerusalem) in the south.
Ezekiel 37:21-23 New King James Version
21 “Then say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; 22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again. 23 They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their GOD.
This Scripture is being fulfilled in our time (day and age).
The BRIT CHADASHAH NEW COVENANT/TESTAMENT) Reading for this week is Matthew 10:1-4! It talks about about YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S selection of HIS 12 Disciples who later became the 12 Apostles and foundation of the BODY OF YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH!
Note 📝 that according to verse 6 of Matthew 10, YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH sends HIS Disciples out to ISRAEL only! HE makes it clear that at that time, SALVATION was for ISRAEL only! The Samaritans and Gentiles were not invited as yet but were later on at the end of YAHUSHUA YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S Ministry as per Acts 1:8 and Matthew 28:18-20!
YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH then laid down the law regarding what it means to be HIS Disciple: 👋
Be ready to make sacrifices which involve forsaking all!
1. Give as freely as you have received (Matthew 10:8-9)!
2. Be ready to accept hospitality (Matthew 10:10-12)!
3. BLESS those who accommodate you (Matthew 10:12)!
4. Dust their dust off of your feet and leave their homes those who are not interested in the MESSAGE OF THE KINGDOM OF YAH (Matthew 10:13-14)!
This TORAH PORTION calls for:

Some further useful information:
In what seems to be a lesson learned from the failure of the previous spies, Joshua sent just two of the most trusted men in Israel on this mission. Although Scripture leaves them nameless, the Midrash identifies them as Pinchas and Caleb.1 Caleb had been together with Joshua in the first mission to the Land, and had remained faithful to G‑d by resisting the test of discouraging the people from entering the Land as his colleagues had done. Pinchas had also stood up against all odds in an act of zealotry, when he publicly killed the leader of the tribe of Simeon and the Midianite woman with whom he was sinning.
The mission of the spies was to get a feel of the atmosphere that prevailed in the city now that the Israelites were about to enter. This knowledge, coming firsthand, would strengthen the people in preparation for battle. In addition, Joshua needed to know the the layout of the city to make its conquest most efficient.2
