Shabbat Zachor (“Sabbath [of] remembrance שבת זכור) is the Shabbat immediately preceding Purim. Deuteronomy 25:17-19 (at the end of Parasha Ki Teitzei), describing the attack on the weakest by Amalek, is recounted.
SHABBAT SHALOM Brethren in YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH [a.k.a JESUS CHRIST; Not Yeshua! ; Not YeshaYAHU!!!],
Today, Saturday 4th March 2023/ADAR 11 is SHABBAT TETZAVEH/YOU SHALL COMMAND also known as ZACHOR/REMEMBERANCE! The reason as to why this particular Weekly SABBATH has another name is that it precedes THE CREATOR/MAKER, YAH’S HOLY APPOINTED TIME called PURIM/LOTS based on THE HOLY BIBLICAL SCRIPTURE BOOK OF ESTHER/HADASSAH!
*For those who do not know, each weekly SABBATH is named after THE TORAH/LAW* [Genesis to Deteuronomy] *PORTION of the week keeping in mind that a week begins on Sunday a.k.a Sun-Day and ends of Saturday.* In addition, on occasion, Some weekly SABBATHS bear other names. This is one of them.
So, as we approach PURIM/LOTS, keeping in mind that we are in THE 3 DAYS OF FASTING AND PRAYER [ADAR 10-13] IN RUACH HA KODESH/HOLY SPIRIT, we are Reading and studying THE TORAH/LAW PARASHAH/PORTION whose main focus is on:
📌THE HOLY OIL and 📌KOHEN [COHEN] HA GADOL/HIGH PRIEST’S GARMENTS used in THE MISHKAN [TABERNACLE OF MOSHE a.k.a TENT OF MEETING],
we are also reading and meditating on The Attack of the Amalekites during a Weak Moment for ISRAEL a.k.a YAHSHAHEL [Deuteronomy 25:17-19 (Exodus 17:8-16)] as this is very much related to PURIM/LOTS in the sense that the villain (Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite) of the PURIM HOLY BIBLICAL SCRIPTURES STORY is of the Amalekite lineage.
*You see, PURIM/LOTS is a crucial HOLY APPOINTED TIME yearly as it is very much linked to THE GREAT TRIBULATION a.k.a TIME OF JACOB’S SORROW/TROUBLE* [Jeremiah 30:6-7]. We also need OIL – SPIRITUAL OIL [Exodus 30:25-28 – part of TORAH/PORTION “TETZAVEH”] which is RUACH HA KODESH to carry on in our SPIRITUAL JOURNEY on THE NARROW WAY/PATH to HEAVEN.
