7th New Moon 2021
Beloved Watchmen and women,

We bring you greetings this new moon of Av, the fifth month of the Hebrew calendar and the 8th month in the Gregorian calendar. We pray Isaiah 40 asking the LORD of consolation to comfort those who are going through affliction in this season of heightened warfare across the nations. The lunar month that just ended has been a time of major contention and wrestling in the spirit, but praise YAWEH who always causes us to triumph in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

The new moon occured at 01:17 UT on July 10 (2:17 am Nigerian time; 8:17 pm US Central time on July 9). This is a crucial month of intercession for Israel because it is the month of Av, a month of deep sorrow and calamities. Traditionally, the enemies of Israel attack the nation this month. Starting from the days of King Zedekiah when the armies of Babylon entered Jerusalem in the fifth month (Jer. 52:12), to recent times in Israel when numerous wars began in the Middle East. This was the time in Israel when two temples were destroyed. Please pray for protection over Israel and believers in the middle east (Ps 83). Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Ps. 122).

As mentioned in the previous newsletter, summer is a time when kings go to battles, 2 Samuel 23:13ff. In essence, then, summer battles are ―throne battles and battles for controlling people and their God-given inheritance. As we go into another summer month in the northern hemisphere, we must worship at the throne of Ancient of Days and the Lamb (Daniel 7: 9-14, Rev 4, 5). As we do so, we will be strengthened to arise and conquer (through the blood of Jesus and the Word of God), every throne of wickedness (spiritual or physical) set up by the adversary to rule over our lives and affairs (Rev 12:11-12).

We also request prayers for Nigeria and other nations in Africa ant other parts of the Earth because of the increase in turmoil in the whole world: terrorism, wars, rumors of war, plagues, violence, strange deaths, scarcity of food, inflation,  floods, fires, and so on. Pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort those who have lost loved ones.

Please pray that these shakings will pave way for the unsaved to receive the Good News of Yeshua so that they can be incorporated into a Kingdom that cannot be moved in order that people “… may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear” (Hebrews 12:28 )

This new moon as we fellowship together, let us worship the LORD of Hosts with song, tamborine, dance, and the sounding of the shofar. The Word of God says:
―Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery. Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.‖ (Psalms 81:1-3)
Pray using Psalm 92 asking the Lord to sanctify and refresh you with His heavenly oil. Pray that the anointing will break every yoke. Prophecy from Is. 60 that you will be quickened to rise and shine in the everlasting light of Yeshua, the light of the world. Receive renewed strength and supernatural victory as you fight a good fight of faith.

“For upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him. For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD , and to do it , and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments. And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king.” (Ezra 7:8-10)

Let us connect with the grace of God in this fifth month to receive the continuity of the good hand of God upon the Ezra company of these last days, especially in Africa, whom the Lord has numbered for the transformation of the continent, to enable the raising of ethical and upright men and women by teaching.

The month of Av is called the month of Simeon, the second son of Jacob. His mother, Leah named him Simeon, saying “Because God has heard that I am unloved, He has given me this one also.” Simeon, a hot-blooded youth, often reacted quickly and physically, especially when paired with his brother Levi. When their sister Dinah was kidnapped and raped by the prince of Shechem, Simeon and Levi, stirred up by righteous anger, killed the men of the city, ignoring the fact that Dina’s other brothers had already convinced the residents of Shechem to circumcise themselves, and live in peace with Jacob’s family (Genesis 34).

Jacob cursed Simeon and Levi to be scattered in Israel (Gen 49:5-7). Consequently, instead of being a strong tribe, Simeon was the weakest tribe in Israel (Numbers 26). When the land was divided among the different tribes, Simeon had no part given him; but as the allotment of Judah was too large for that tribe, Simeon was allowed to occupy a portion of the inheritance of Judah (Joshua 19). He and his descendants stayed close to Judah his brother (Judges 1). The lessons to be learned here for purposes of prayer this month are as follows:

a.    Simeon means “Hearing”. This is a month of the ears and hearing. Please read Rev 1-3 and allow the Lord to minister to you through his message to the seven churches—each of the message ends with the conclusion: “he who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches.” Pray for deliverance from spiritual deafness. Pray for ability to hear the Spirit of God clearly. Pray for understanding (in your heart). Pray for the grace to be a hearer and doer of God’s Word. Pray for increased FAITH that comes by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17) so that we can please God (Heb 11:6).
b.    Simeon was a man of war, fearless and intolerant of sin, which are virtuous attributes. But he had no self-control, and thus acted in the flesh. The bible says “he that ruleth his spirit is greater than he that taketh a city” (Proverbs 16:32), but “he that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls” (Proverbs 25:28). Let us repent of all manners of anger expressed in the flesh, which have resulted in sin (Be you angry, and sin not Eph 4:26); ask for forgiveness and cleansing by the blood of the Lamb of God
c.    Simeon stayed with Judah, who was also a fearless man of war (Gen 49:8-9, Num 24:8-9), but was different because he acted based on the voice of God (for example, Judges 1:1-3). Simeon’s association with Judah incorporated him into the will of Yahweh and caused him to have an inheritance (Judges 1:17). This can be likened to our redemption by Jesus, our savior, the Lion of Judah and the Lamb who prevailed to redeem us for all curse and gave us an inheritance in the kingdom of God (Rev 5). Let us offer abundant sacrifice of praise to the author of our salvation this month. Let us continue to abide in him- Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (Phil 1:6)
d.    Simeon’s Redemption as seen in the New Testament: As we read in Rev 7:7, one twelfth of the one hundred and forty-four thousand will enter the city of God bearing Simeon’s name. This clearly demonstrates the redeeming power of God. Jesus is the only one born of woman that is sinless. He alone of all the family of Adam will throughout eternity have an uncovered life record. No part of His record will be covered. But our life record, marred by sin, will be covered by Christ’s righteousness. The blood of Christ can cleanse from sin of the deepest dye, and even murderers can enter heaven; not as murderers, but as pardoned sinners; for though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool (Isaiah 1:18).
e.    In conclusion, this month of Simeon is a month to celebrate Yeshua, the Lion of Judah, the root of David, who has prevailed for all of us (Rev 5). He is our King and the Lamb of Elohim who has taken away our sins and the wages of sin, which is death. Let us join the hosts of heaven to worship him as in Rev 7:9-17.

Other important alignments in the heavens during the month are given below (Plead the blood of Yeshua into the heavens and command the heavens to declare the righteousness and glory of God: Ps 97:6, Ps 19: 1-6):
-From July 11 to 14, the first crescent moon will be visible in the sky. In esoteric circles, the first crescent moon is called Diana’s bow and is invoked to shoot moon arrows for causing death to amass blood for healing and renewal. Please read the previous newsletters for more information on the central role of the moon in witchcraft and occult practices. Use the scripture from Hebrews 2:14-15 and Rev 14: 14ff to tackle this issue and break any evil bow or sickle programmed to shoot arrows of sickness and death.
Alignment of the first crescent moon and Venus, the brightest planet and Mars (war planet) (July 11, Rev 14:14ff, Rev 5, Ps 47)
Alignment of the first crescent moon and Regulus, the king star in the constellation of Judah (July 13, Rev 14:14ff)
Alignment of Venus and Mars (July 13, Ps 19, Rev 5, Ps 47)
-First quarter moon (July 17, Lift up the Cross of Yeshua (Col 2:15) in the prominent terminator of the quarter moon and proclaim that it is the terminator of all curses and satanic proclamations over you, your family, business, finances, ministry, nation, Church, etc.)
Alignment of Venus and Regulus, the king star in the constellation of Judah (July 22, Rev 14:14ff, Rev 1)
-Full moon (Ps 81: 1-6). This Full Moon occurs on July 24 at 2: 37 UT (3: 37 am Nigerian, 9: 37 pm US Central on July 23.
Please pray that the fullness of all the activities surrounding this moon will comply with the counsel of Jesus Christ because in Him only is the fullness of all things (Col 1:19). The influence of the Full Moon can be felt for at least 3 days; therefore, endeavor to pray from July 23-27.
From July 23-27, the full moon aligns with 4 backward moving planets: Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, and Neptune. Pray for divine reversals, divine turnaround in your challenging situations (Isaiah 44: 24-25)
Last quarter moon (Jul 31, Lift up the Cross of Yeshua (Col 2:15) in the prominent terminator of the quarter moon and proclaim that it is the terminator of all curses and satanic proclamations over you, your family, business, finances, ministry, nation, Church, etc.)
Last crescent moon (August 4-7, Rev 14:14)

Cross quarter day (August 7 at 6:00 UT, 7 am Nigerian, 1am US Central). This is the mid-point between summer solstice and autumnal equinox (Sept 22) in the northern hemisphere (in the southern hemisphere, it is the mid-point between winter and spring). This is the time of the celebration of witchcraft sabbat called Lammas—loaf mass. Major coven events will intensify during the new moon (August 8). Witches will like to affect the earth with war, fire and demonic fury in the nations. We ought to plead the blood of Jesus into this period and command the heavens to declare the glory of God (Ps 19:1-6).

Proclaim these scriptures to judge the host of hell: Nahum 3, Is. 47, Micah 3: 6-7, Micah 5: 10-15, Ps 69: 22-28, Is 44:24-26, Ex 22:18, etc.
Pray Matt 7: 1-2. Ask the Lord to now judge the wicked who are persecuting the righteous in Christ.
Please plead the blood of the Lamb of Elohim into these meteors. This is a potential weapon the enemy can use to shoot people. The LORD Himself fought Sisera with these stars as we read in Judges 5. Pray from Ps. 91 and other related scriptures. Ask Elohim, the Lord of Hosts to cover your head in the day of battle and hide you in the time of indignation.
Note-the Perseus (Breaker) meteor shower is at its peak on August 13. Pray Micah 2:13.
As you can see, this is a time to watch and pray. The joy of being rooted and grounded in Christ is that we belong to a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, the Kingdom of Yeshua the Messiah!
Let us sound the shofar continuously at this time. Thank God for His promise to grant us a strong voice in the heavens (Is 51:16). Thank Him for His grace, love, mercy and favor. Thank God for creating the sun to rule the day and the moon to rule the night. Thank God for creating the heavenly elements for signs and Seasons.
Ps 136,Gen 1
―… The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfill all thy counsel. We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfill all thy petitions. Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.”
Shut the heavens with the key of David against all satanic watchmen (Rev 3:7-8) and proclaim Rev 4, 5, 12: 11
Sound the shofar!

May Yeshua our Chief intercessor strengthen and encourage you with victory and breakthrough as you watch and pray.

Shalom!
