The Children of Israel are instructed by YAH SHADDAI to rise up and fight against the Children of Midian(descendants of Abraham) whom Balaam, son of Beor had used to cause Israelites to sin againstYAH ALMIGHTYat Peor in the Kingdom of Moab!It wasn’t only sexual sin that they got involved but also idolatry (They worshipped Baal of Peor)!12,000 men were selected from all the 12 Tribes of Israel (1,000 each) and set out against the Midianites (Numbers 31)! They were meant to kill all, including women and children however, they only killed the men! Moses was furious with them! Later on women who had been sexually intimate with a man were killed along with all the male children!Notice how the ones who had fought in the battle were to remain outside of the Camp of Israel for 7 days purifying themselves, the Spoils and Booty particularly onthe 3rd and 7th Days. The Battle stained them! They used fire and the water of purification to purify everything (Numbers 31)! Notice how the Spoils and booty are numbered, divided up and distributed accordingly. The Precious Stones are given to HIGH PRIEST, Eleazar who places them in the Tabernacle as a gift to YAH ALMIGHTY! (Numbers 31:25-54)

Doesn’t it make you wonder they carried out THE CENSUS on everything and everyone and came up with the correct TOTAL NUMBERS OF THE PEOPLE and ANIMALS in their midst?

The booty remaining from the plunder that was given to YAH SHADDAI as tithe, was:
👍675,000 sheep,
👍72,000 cattle,
and
👍32,000 persons in all, of women who had not known a man intimately.
(Numbers 31:32‭-‬33‭, ‬35)

The one kept by the soldiers/men of war after the TITHE was taken were:

👍36,000 cattle
👍30,500 cattle
👍16,000 Persons

Then, also 1/5th was given to the Levities!

NOTE THAT NONE OF THE 12,000 SOLDIERS FROM THE 12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL WERE MISSING By the end of the battle!

These were very thoughtful! They expressed no greediness nor selfishness with regards to the Spoils to the extent that they give YAH ALMIGHTY all of the following:
We have brought an offering for ADONAI YAHUVEH (YAHWEH), what every man has obtained in the way of gold jewelry — armlets, bracelets, signet rings, earrings and belts — to make atonement for ourselves before ADONAI YAHUVEH.”

👍We also see The Descendants of Reuben (the younger generation) make a strange decision which is to desire to have their own Portion of land outside of the Designated PROMISED LAND! Due to what the beauty that they had beheld about the land East to the River Jordan, they made up their mind to abide/reside there. They almost abandoned the role in obtaining the portion in acquiring the Land beyond the River Jordan – Canaan! Moses then rebukes them and they vow not to reside in the land that they were camped at before the River Jordan, at the time until they had finished supporting their fellow brethren, Israel in fighting against the inhabited of THE PROMISED LAND, Canaan (Numbers 32)!

👍 THE HISTORY OF THE JOURNEY OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL from Mitzrayim (Egypt) to their present location, from Beth Jesimoth all the way to the Plains of Moab by the Jordan across Jericho (Numbers 33:1-49)!

Notice how YAH declares and coins it that into LAW going forward the INHERITANCE OF EACH INDIVIDUAL TRIBE MUST ALWAYS BE KEPT WITHIN EACH INDIVIDUAL TRIBE! Further confirmation is given regarding Females being permitted to inherit what their father’s leave behind when the fathers die (Numbers 27:1-11; Joshua 17:3-6). This came about through The Half Tribe of Manasseh from the Full Tribe of Joseph!
