Furthermore in relation to This Week’s TORAH PARASHAH/PORTION, KI TAVO/WHEN YOU COME, it is worth NOTING 📝 that Deuteronomy 26 is very much related to YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S RESURRECTION because HE IS THE FIRSTFRUITS OF CREATION! And just as ISRAEL presented their FIRSTFRUITS unto YAHUVEH and YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH was presented to YAHUVEH [YAHWEH] as THE FIRSTFRUITS OF CREATION after overcoming hell, sin and death, so too will YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH present The RAPTURABLE people a.k.a HIS BELOVED BRIDE – Israel who bear HIS TESTIMONY and keep HIS COMMANDMENTS plus are without spot or wrinkle as HIS FIRSTFRUITS unto YAHUVEH one ROSH HA SHANAH a.k.a YOM TERUAH in the not so distant future.
The basket of fruits mentioned in Deuteronomy 26 was to be waved in all 4 direction: The 4 Corners of the earth just like the lulav was and still is waved on SUKKOT a.k.a SUCCOTH.
The words to be declared by ISRAEL upon presenting THE BASKET OF FRUITS are an important reminder of ACCOUNTABILITY and SUBMISSION TO THE CREATOR/MAKER, YAH SHADDAI. This is also why THERE was one Particular tree in THE GARDEN OF EDEN that Mankind was instructed not to touch as per Genesis 2.
It is also good to know that during YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S RESURRECTION, the Levites sung Psalm 30.

30 I will extol thee, O LORD YAHUVEH [YAHWEH]; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 O LORD YAHUVEH my GOD, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

In this Chapter, note that there are 12 verses of BLESSINGS and 53 verses of CURSES! THE BLESSINGS are to overwhelm you however THE CURSES come in more ways and do so much more.
Everyone wants THE BLESSINGS however the more serious part to note is that we are to Live our lives and serve YAH SHADDAI with JOY! This is the condition for enjoying HIS BLESSINGS.
If we choose to serve YAH SHADDAI grudgingly, then HIS CURSES would be our portion. May this not be our portion in YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S NAME, AMEN!
We are to serve YAH SHADDAI with GLADNESS OF HEART or with a JOYFUL HEART!
We can’t just serve YAH SHADDAI for serving sake and expect HIS BLESSINGS to overwhelm us.
BEARING FRUIT is a crucial matter to YAH SHADDAI and it is interesting to see it highlighted in this TORAH PORTION in this Season of deeply examining ourselves to ensure that we have bore many good fruit to present to HIM on HIS upcoming JUDGEMENT DAY.
We are subject to YAH’S TORAH/LAW believe it or not, like it or not for YAH SHADDAI REDEEMED [YAHUSHUA] us from the curse of the TORAH/LAW (and not from THE TORAH/LAW HERSELF]!!! Galatians 3:19; Deuteronomy 21:22-23; Matthew 5:17-19
Our Obedience is to be done out of LOVE FOR YAH SHADDAI!
No matter how much good we have done, this does not compensate for the bad we have done.

Today, Saturday 17th September 2022/ELUL 21 is 7 days away from THE CREATOR/MAKER’S APPOINTED TIME called ROSH HA SHANAH [HEAD OF THE YEAR] a.k.a YOM TERUAH [DAY OF THE BLASTING/SOUNDING OF THE SHOFAR]!
*The Autumn/Fall APPOINTED TIMES a.kma FESTIVALS a.k.a FEASTS are fast approaching…. How prepared are you? Remember that THE FIRST TWO APPOINTMENT TIMES are part of YAHUVEH’S [YAHWEH] JUDGEMENT*

In this week’s PARASHAH, we are taught by YAH SHADDAI to cotinually remember what HE has done for us and to be grateful by giving FIRST OFFERINGS unto HIM.
Remember that in THE HOLY LAND, ISRAEL, this time of the year is THE FRUITS and LEGUMES HARVEST!
Also, Remember that The 12 Spies brought back large clusters of Grapes from their 40 day tour of their THE HOLY LAND during THE HEBREW CALENDAR MONTH/SEASON called AV. AV is the month before ELUL.
Numbers 13:22-24

22 And they ascended by the south and came unto Hebron where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
*23 And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bore it between two upon a staff; and they brought of the pomegranates and of the figs.*
24 The place was called the Brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence.
Then in a couple of weeks from now, we will be observing THE APPOINTED TIME OF TABERNACLES or SHELTERS & IN-GATHERING or HAVERST a.k.a SUKKOT/SUCCOTH. This is observed in THE HEBREW CALENDAR MONTH or Season called TISHREI or TISHRI!
So, as we have learned in the past,
➡️THE VERY FIRST HARVEST SEASON each year beginning in THE HEBREW CALENDAR MONTH or SEASON of NISAN a.k.a AVIV/ABIB as per Exodus 12:1-2 in ISRAEL is BARLEY
followed by:
➡️THE SECOND HARVEST SEASON which is THE WHEAT HARVEST 2 months later in THE HEBREW CALENDAR MONTH or SEASON of SIVAN
and finally:
➡️THE THIRD HARVEST SEASON which is THE FRUITS and every other plant in THE HEBREW CALENDAR MONTH or SEASON called AV to CHESHVAN or HESHVAN or MARCHESHVAN!
It is therefore very interesting to see how this TORAH PARASHAH/PORTION ties in well with THE HARVEST SEASON in THE HOLY LAND, ISRAEL – FRUITS HARVEST!
Deuteronomy 26:1-2

26 And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD YAHUVEH [YAHWEH] THY GOD giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;
*2 That THOU shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of THY land that the LORD YAHUVEH [YAHWEH] THY GOD giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD YAHUVEH THY GOD shall choose to place HIS NAME there.*
There is a constant repeated theme of BLESSINGS vs CURSES throughout TEH HOLY BIBLICAL SCRIPTURE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY! Each TORAH PARASHAH/PORTION touches on it somewhat and it is tied to enjoyed of THE HOLY LAND. *There are conditions attached and they can all be traced back to the KETUBAH/WEDDING COVENANT AGREEMENT signed by ISRAEL and YAHUVEH [YAHWEH] at Mount Sinai many years ago then re-affirmed at Mount Gerizim, Shechem and Mount Ebal shortly after crossing The River Jordan/Yarden.*
Moses instructs the people of Israel:
When you enter the land that YAH is giving to you as your eternal heritage, and you settle it and cultivate it, bring the first-ripened fruits (bikkurim) of your orchard to the HOLY Temple, and declare your gratitude for all that YAH has done for you.
Our Parshah also includes the LAWS OF THE tithes given to the Levites and to the poor, and detailed instructions on how to proclaim the blessings and the curses on Mount Gerizim and Mount Eival—as discussed in the beginning of the PARSHAH of Re’eh. Moses reminds the people that they are YAH’S chosen people, and that they, in turn, have chosen YAH.
The latter part of Ki Tavo consists of the Tochachah (“Rebuke”). After listing the BLESSINGS with which YAH will reward the people when they follow the LAWS OF the TORAH Moses gives a long, harsh account of the bad things—illness, famine, poverty and exile—that shall befall them if they abandon YAH’S COMMANDMENTS.
*Moses concludes by telling the people that only today, forty years after their birth as a people, have they attained “a heart to know, eyes to see and ears to hear.”*
THE HAFTARAH PARASHAH/PORTION [PROPHECY & WRITINGS] – Isaiah 60:1-22 is about THE GLORY OF ISRAEL RESTORED!

60 Arise, SHINE; for thy LIGHT is come, and the GLORY OF THE LORD YAHUVEH [YAHWEH] is risen upon thee.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD YAHUVEH shall arise upon thee, and his GLORY shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the BRIGHTNESS of thy RISING.
4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
THE BRIT CHADASHAH [NEW COVENANT/TESTAMENT] – Matthew 4:13-24 is linked to Isaiah 60:1-22 as it talks about A GREAT LIGHT!

“The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, toward the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles, *the people who sat in darkness saw A GREAT LIGHT, to those who sat in the region and shadow of death, to them LIGHT has dawned.”* The report about him went out into all Syria. They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them.
Israel is downtrodden throughout this evil world of Esau (CREATION – END OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION] mainly because of the mistake they made regards The Golden Calf and again later on after inheriting THE PROMISED LAND however during this period of being downtrodden upon, YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH came RESTORED ISRAEL’S GLORY and LIGHT, HalleluYAH! Nevertheless, ISRAEL is to be and will be much more respectable and honourable in the world to come: the one of THE MILLENNIAL SABBATH REIGN OF YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH, HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH!

So, today being the 21st day of this HEBREW CALENDAR MONTH or SEASON called ELUL, it means that 3 weeks of FASTING and PRAYER have past. That leaves us with approximately 2, 1/2 weeks of FASTINg and PRAYER before this season can be concluded.
Remember that This is a SEASON OF DEEPER REPENTANCE THAN USUAL as we shared at the beginning of this month. There is much BIBLICAL EVIDENCE to support this. Various HOLY BIBLICAL SCRIPTURES pertain to this season of TESHUVAH/Repentance, SELICHOT/Seeking Forgiveness and SHOFTIM/JUDGEMENT! *Also, RESTITUTION is required in some cases.* No stone should be left unturned because everything is laid open before THE CREATOR/MAKER, YAH SHADDAI! It is very interesting that leading up to the JUDGEMENT SEASON, we are reading and studying Deuteronomy – THE BOOK OF THE LAW as per Joshua/Yahushua 1:8.
