*Today, Sunday 7th March 2021 marks the beginning of the final week of the 12th Hebrew month called Adar as per Exodus 12:1-2 (Ecclesiastical Year Calendar) and the 6th Hebrew month as per Genesis 1 (Civil Year Calendar).*
Ecclesiastical – use to count Biblical Festivals
Civil – uses to determine history of Creation in terms of time.
Next Sunday 14th March 2021 marks the beginning of the Hebrew month called Nisan a.k.a Abib or Aviv.
*The first day of the month is called in the Hebrew language: Rosh Chodesh (Head of the month) or The Santifying of the New Moon.*

ADAR
The month of ADAR is the month of SWEETNESS TO ME and SWIFTNESS.
*Naftali/Naphtali, one of Jacob’s/Israel’s sons is the main figure of this month. He was as swift as a deer/doe.*
This is very true and proven during Jacob’s/Israel’s funeral at the Cave of Macpelah when Esau showed up and started to fight over ownership of the cave now that his brother had passed on.
The only thing that was to stop Esau from taking ownership of the cave purchased by Abraham for his descendants and his descendants was the paperwork given to Joseph as proof of ownership. These had been left in Egypt. The cave was in the land of Israel (known as Canaan at that time).
*So, since Naphtali was the swiftest, Joseph sent him to Egypt to collect paperwork and bring it to show Esau. Naphtali went and returned within 15 minutes or less.* When Esau saw that he was losing his claim, he started to fight against his nephews. In the end, he lost his head. Esau’s family members became afraid as thei leader had lost the battle so they fled, however they did not give up on waring against the Children of Israel from that day onwards. In fact, they went to Egypt on a few occasions to start battles against the Children of Israel.
It was after this battle that Israel was laid to rest. Esau did not truly forgive and let go. He still sought revenge at every opportunity possible, even at the point of his brother’s death. *Israel led a life of battle. It was a very challenging life.* HE had to be well equipped with YAH’S WORD always. *YAH says, Esau HE hates and Jacob/Israel, HE loves. HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH!*

Genesis 1:14
The New Moon is the Most Pivotal Day of the month because without it, we wouldn’t be able to know when any of the Biblical Holy Days are.
We are able to know which days are Holy and which days are not through the New Moon’s appearance in the sky.
The Bible begins with The Tree of Life – Genesis 2:

9 Yahweh Elohim made all the trees grow out of the ground. These trees were nice to look at, and their fruit was good to eat. The tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil grew in the middle of the garden.
The Tree of life also shows up at the end of the Bible:

22 The angel showed me a river filled with the water of life, as clear as crystal. In the future, in the New Millennium, every new moon will be honoured even by the tree of life as it knows when to produce new fruit which is at the beginning of the new month.

46 ‘Thus says the LORD YAHUVEH (YAHWEH) GOD: “The gateway of the inner court that faces toward the east shall be shut for six (A)working days; but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and on the day of the New Moon it shall be opened.
EVEN AFTER THE MILLENNIAL REIGN OF YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH (JESUS CHRIST, not Yeshua!!!) on earth, the New Moon will matter a lot. It will be honoured! Even in the New Heavens and New Earth, we will keep the New Moon!
YAH declares the following:

The New Moon is really there to mark Seasons and Times.
The Full Moon tells us when the Biblical festivals start.

In the days of old, The Children of Israel would light a fire on top of a hill for everyone to see worldwide as a signal that the New Moon was visible in the Holy Land, Israel and as a result, the New Month had been ushered in. The nation of Israel was given the responsibility by YAH to do this.
However, unfortunately, the Roman Catholic Church hated the fact that Israel was in-charge so they created a new calendar. The Israeli Calendar was reviewed and amended a few times. The final one is The Roman Gregorian Calendar.
We are to keep ourselves Holy after YAH has made us Holy!

YAH picked us out of the crowd and separated us to HIMSELF.

We are required to separate ourselves from the world for we are no longer of the world! We are not to go back into it!
PRAYER OF SANCRIFICATON OF THE NEW MOON:
The Tribe of Naphtali is associated with the month of Adar.
Naphtali, one of Jacob’s sons is considered Jacob’s Trusted Messenger.

that has beautiful fawns.
He gives words of elegance. Naphtali is seen a person of elegance. Back then, notes were tied to the horn of a deer after which it was let lose. They would run back to their natural habitat. The people to whom the notes were addressed to would find the notes and read the. The deers were therefore considered to be MESSENGERS OF GOOD NEWS!

Interestingly, the land apportioned to Naphtali in the Land of Israel was the very first area to produce fruit from the trees.
Deuteronomy 33:23 Names of God Bible
23 About the tribe of Naphtali he said,
“The people of Naphtali enjoy YAHWEH’S favor
and are filled with YAHWEH’S blessings.
They will take possession of the lake and the land south of it.”
*The name and word, Naphtali means to twist or wrestle.*
Leah was wrestling with YAH over having another child.
The very word, Prayer is Tefillah in the Hebrew language.
The Prayer Boxes placed on the forehead are called Tefillin (Deuteronomy 6:4-9).
The very same letters that make up the word Naftali also make up the words Tefillah and Tefillin.
The Naphtali (Naftali in Hebrew) implies to wrestle with YAH in prayer.

It is interesting that the TORAH Portion, Terumah is what we read and study on the First Day of the month of Adar. Why?
Terumah means Heave Offering – set apart for building the Tabernacle (and Temple). This event occurred for the very first time on the first day of the month of Adar. The process of taking an offering from what you have and setting it apart for YAH implies that you make it HOLY unto YAH ALMIGHTY so by the time you lift it up to HIM, it is already HOLY!!!

The Temple Is Completed and Dedicated

The Temple which had been destroyed was re-dedicated on 3rd Adar.
This is why to this day the Temple Tax is collected in the month of Adar. When we fastforward to YAHUSHUA’S Time on earth.

Moses’ birthday and death day is 7th Adar.
Purim is 14th – 15th Adar – Esther 3;9.

1st Adar – *The plague of 3 days of darkness which was the 9th tool placed during this month when the Israelites were still being held captive in the land of Mitzrayim (Egypt).* Exodus 10:23
This started on the 1st of Adar, six weeks before the Exodus.
7 Adar (1393 BCE) – Birth of Moses
7 Adar (1273 BCE) – Death of Moses
13 Adar (474 BCE) – War between Jews and their enemies in Persia (Book of Esther, chapter 9).
13 Adar (161 BCE) – Yom Nicanor – The Maccabees defeated Syrian general Nicanor, in a battle fought four years after the Maccabees’ liberation of the Holy Land and the miracle of Hanukkah.
14 Adar (474 BCE) – Purim victory celebrated in the Persian Empire
15 Adar (474 BCE) – Purim Victory Celebrated in Shushan
17 Adar (522 BCE) – Yom Adar – the day the Jewish people left Persia following the Purim story
23 Adar (circa 1312 BCE) – Mishkan (Tabernacle of Moses) assembled for the first time; “Seven Days of Training” begin.
25 Adar (561 BCE) – Death of Nebuchadnezzar (Jeremiah 52:31).
27 Adar (561 BCE) – Death of Zedekiah in Babylonian captivity. Meroduch, Nebuchadnezzar’s son and successor, freed him (and his nephew Jeconiah) on the 27th of Adar, but Zedekiah died that same day.

The month of Nisan is The Month of LION OF YAHUDAH (JUDAH)! HalleluYAH!
*The 1st of Nisan is Rosh Ha Shanah (New Year’s Day as per Exodus 12:1-3 as well as Rosh Chodesh.*
We celebrate the appearance of a new moon. The new moon usually appears in the shape of a thin crescent.
What is the New Moon all about?
The new moon is the phase of the moon that is invisible from Earth. The moon is situated between the earth and the sun so that the side that is illuminated by the sun’s rays faces away from us. The moon is still there; we just can’t see it.
Note that There was a Super Moon on Purim, Passover and Rosh Ha Shanah of year 2020. They were a sign that THE GREAT TRIBULATION a.k.a TIME OF JACOB’S SORROW/TROUBLE (Jeremiah 30:7) began last year 2020.
Ezekiel 46:1 – Talking about YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH’S (JESUS CHRIST’S) Millennial Reign/Rule on earth.

Question: Do we make ourselves Holy or YAH makes us Holy?
Well, YAH makes us Holy to HIMSELF (a.k.a Santifies us) and then we are to build on that by doing what HE has asked us to do.
Leviticus 20:7-8
Only YAH can set us apart and then we are to add to the Holiness foundation HE gives us. We can set ourselves apart but this different to what YAH implies by HE has set us apart out of all the peoples on earth..
The Month of Nisan:
Nisan 1 marks the beginning of a spiritual cleansing and renewal for the people of God. What had happened on the first day of the first month throughout history?
the first day of Nisan of that year “took 10 crowns:” It was
(1) the first day of the week;
(2) the first day the princes brought their offerings;
(3) the first day the Aaronic priesthood was put into effect;
(4) the first day of the Temple sacrifices;
(5) the first time a fire descended from heaven onto the altar;
(6) the first time that sacred foods were eaten in the Tabernacle;
(7) the first time that the Divine Presence rested amidst the people;
(8) the first day the priests conferred the priestly blessing;
(9) the first time it was forbidden to sacrifice to YAH (GOD) on ad hoc altars; and finally
(10) it was the first month of the new year.7
1st Nisan or Nisan 1:
The Great Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob died on 1st Nisan.
1st Nisan is the day on which the Tabernacle of Moses was Inaugurated, approved and blessed by YAH. YAH’S GLORY entered the Tabernacle and dwelt there, HalleluYAH!
YAH’S GLORY dwelt amongst HIS People, HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH!
The week of 14th to 21st Nisan is certainly a week of Miracles: Miracle after Miracle, HalleluYAH, HalleluYAH, HalleluYAH!!!
7th Nisan
On 7th Nisan, Joshua was led to send 2 Children of Israel to check out Jericho as spies. When the spies returned, Joshua then crossed the Yarden (River Jordan) on 10th Nisan.
A major part of the portion of Shelach is occupied with the story of the spies sent by Moses to the Land of Israel. Forty years later, now at the threshold of entry into the land, Moses’ successor, Joshua, sends two spies of his own into the city of Jericho.
In what seems to be a lesson learned from the failure of the previous spies, Joshua sent just two of the most trusted men in Israel on this mission. Although Scripture leaves them nameless, they are identified as Pinchas and Caleb.
Caleb had been together with Joshua in the first mission to the Land, and had remained faithful to YAH by resisting the test of discouraging the people from entering the Land as his colleagues had done. Pinchas had also stood up against all odds in an act of zealotry, when he publicly killed the leader of the tribe of Simeon and the Midianite woman with whom he was sinning.
The mission of the spies was to get a feel of the atmosphere that prevailed in the city now that the Israelites were about to enter. This knowledge, coming firsthand, would strengthen the people in preparation for battle. In addition, Joshua needed to know the the layout of the city to make its conquest most efficient.
10th Nisan
10th Nisan was The first Shabbat HaGadol was celebrated by the Israelites in Egypt five days before The Exodus.
10th Nisan was the day on which the death of Miriam, 39 years after the Exodus.
10th Nisan was the day on which the Children of Israel crossed The Yarden (River Jordan).
On 10th Nisan, YAHUSHUA was selected as THE LAMB to be slaughtered on 10th Nisan. This was renamed Palm Sunday. It wasn’t a Sunday that it happened though. Rather, it was a Saturday – on Shabbat. YAHUSHUA rode on a donkey which had never been ridden before through the streets of Jerusalem while the Childeen of Israel waved Palm Branches at HIM.
Donkeys signify servanthood so YAHUSHUA was in essence trying to pass on the message to us that HE came not to be served but to serve.
14th Nisan
*It was in this month, that THE KING OF THE JEWS – THE KING OF Kings and LORD of Lords, YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH (a.k.a JESUS CHRIST, not Yeshua!!!) was betrayed, arrested, tortured, crucified, died and wasburied for the sake of humanity – all for the love of humanity, HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH!拾拾拾 *
*It was also duringthis month that the Children of Israel were deliveredfrom slavery in Mitzrayim/Egypt by a MIGHTY HAND, The MIGHTY HAND OF YAH, HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH!*
15th Nisan
Esther’s First Banquette took place on this day.
16th Nisan
Esther’s Second Banquette took place on this day.
17th Nisan
YAHUSHUA’S Resurrection took place on The Festival of FirstFruits. This was the 17th Nisan. This was a Saturday just before sun-set.
Haman was hang on the gallows he had built for Mordecai.
21st Nisan
*In this month, The Children of Israel crossed the Sea of Reeds (Red Sea).* The date was 21st Nisan.
The Egyptians set out against them on 17th Nisan and reached them some days later on which day, they crossed over to the other side by Faith in YAHUVEH (YAHWEH), HalleluYAH! Their freedom was sealed. The Egyptian chariots sunk to the bottom of the sea.
22nd – 28th Nisan
*In this month, we also remember the destruction of the Walls of Jericho after 7 days of walking around it.* It is our understanding from Biblical records that the Children of Israel started circling the walls of Jericho on 21st Nisan and finished on 28th Nisan.
Interestingly, it was on 21st Nisan years before that Isaac was circumcised was named as per YAH’S Instructions (Hebrew culture) Isaac entered into Covenant with YAH ALMIGHTY on the 8th Day of birth. The reason for this, is explained as follows:
Moses died on 7th Adar. Interestingly, 7th Adar was also his day of birth 120 years earlier. *After he died, the Children of Israel mourned him for 40 days.* So, from 7th Adar to 7 Nisan is 30 days and to 14th Nisan makes 40 days.
However, on 7th Nisan, Joshua was led to send 2 Children of Israel to check out Jericho as spies. When the spies returned, Joshua then crossed the Yarden (River Jordan) on 10th Nisan.
*They crossed over the Yarden on 10th Nisan which is 4 days before Passover (the second day of theFestival of Unleavened Bread), 40 years after leaving Egypt.*
Theyovercame the people of Jericho on 28th Nisan (one week after The Festival of Unleavened Bread).*
So, in this month, we celebrate deliverance from bondage to satan. HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH HalleluYAH!
*So, as we transition into the Month of Nisan,let us use this last week of the month of Adar to pray that YAH continues to make our lives sweet and cause us to be tirelessly swift in all we do to GLORIFY HIM, in YAHUSHUA’S Name, Amen!*
